I don't have any road trips planned in the next couple of months, so just today I swapped early to winter wheels/tires.
Bring on the cold rain,I'm ready.
The only official centerlock OEM winter wheels look like they're the ones from the pre-2017 Turbos (8.5" front and 11" rear). I kind of like 'em.
I swapped out the colored crest center caps for the silver/black ones, though.

I was tempted by a set of those but ultimately went with Tirerack - good winter tyres though!

Default Now it sounds just right

This was installed along with Soul's straight-cuts in black satin. Wonderful fitment, incredible sound, just right for me at Stage 1

CSF intercoolers at a great price from forum sponsor Meraki Autoworks.

It took me about 8 hrs to install them by myself. I could probably do it again in half the time now that I know better what to do.

Stage 3 Cobb now uploaded. The car pulls much harder than before, especially high rpm. I was stage 2 prior.

Kline Inconel exhaust from Sam at By Design. He also tweaked the stage 2 tune I had before.

I’m now one step away from stage 4. We’ll see.

Oh, and I installed the BMC air filter. Found that filter at Walmart online for $157.

Happy you found the BMC filter on Walmart...

I too found the same filter (and bought it), but was feeling a little off installing Walmart sourced parts on the TTs...

I avoided the Porsche “tax”, and besides the BMC filter I bought came from a Porsche parts supplier, though listed on Walmart’s online store.

Finally finished the car, now it's time do dial her in!
Can't wait to see what she does at shift sector 1/2 mile in a couple of weeks.

New added goodies are:
Pure850 VTG turbos
Tial Intercoolers
Brixton RF7 Wheels

-Payam

Went to the drag strip today for the first time with my stock ‘14 tt...

First two runs were 11.06 & 11.05 @126 with 1.78 & 1.75 60’ 1/8 miles were 7.17@100

Lowered rear tire psi down to 34 from 37 & got a better 60’ 1.66 which netted 7.05@100 & 10.94@127

Great job ! These cars really respond to air pressure changes for a better hook. A dry hop before you stage helps too.
