Love the look too. Had my RS skirts painted gloss black (to match my wheels) and Xpel wrapped/ceramic coated and had the side inlets coated too.

I installed a Cobb w/ the PDK tune on Saturday. I initially went with the Stage 2 Aggressive Boost Response Map and the Aggressive PDK map. I actually lost the rear wheels a couple of times in the hour or so of time I had for "spirited" driving, so I've already dialed it back to the Sport PDK map and the Stock Boost Response.

This car is already stupid fast, I didn't realize the Cobb would make it that much more aggressive!

Wait. So did you get all the functionality of the buttons and heated wheel?

Looks really good.

Thanks Neil. I used the GPS adapter and swapped the MF wheel on. Everything works just fine. Took about 60 minutes. The one thing I don’t have is heat (it requires a different adapter and a clock spring replacement). I finally can control the MF screens, change volume and take calls.

I have the multifunction wheel with the Techart paddles. I know there is a really long thread about changing over. How involved was it? I guess more difficult for me?

Neil, I have the MF wheel in Carbon Fiber and considering to install the Techart paddles. How are they? Do they have that OEM feel (if you get what I mean)?

The upshift one works perfect. The downshift one has some issues on mine but I have a new part. I know others have them without issue. They feel about stock. I had the shift paddles in my last car with the stock sport wheel but I don’t remember exactly how they felt.

Is that wheel thicker than the standard on a 2019?

I see all the buttons and stuff are the same...

Ok. so I have managed to play with the left downshift one and it works great. Feels like OEM to me. I have not felt the 991.2 wheel shifters yet.

Neil - I believe all you'll need is the GPS adapter and that there's no coding/clock spring changes needed. As for how involved it was, it's pretty straight forward. It took about 45 minutes to do.
  • Remove existing steering wheel - 10 minutes
  • Plug GPS adapter in new steering wheel - 15 minutes
  • Install new steering wheel - 10 minutes

Fast - I think it's the same with the only difference being the drive mode selector ****.

That wheel is really nice. It is tempting. Of course I gain no functionality. Thanks for the info. Did you think about getting the wheel that has the drive select switch on it.
