What did you do to your 991 turbo today?

Thanks! Moon phase should be accurate for another 122 years, then I will have to advance it one day 🤪
In the mean time, here are some teaser shots

Was a gorgeous 70ish and sunny Southern California day, perfect day for some top down driving....so I decided to see how fast I could go with the top down...got close enough for horseshoes to 180 mph and ran a 9.89 quarter mile on a lonely stretch of road...on the pump gas setting with the top down and the wind roaring and the turbo whining and Kline screaming like a banshee...epic driving day.

I splurged, took advantage of some Covid 19 pricing, and went Classic on the Roley this year.
I have a 7 year old boy, figured if I got it now he’d see me wearing it most of his aware life and then when “Dad’s Gold Watch” gets passed to him it will mean something to him.
I always bought these things gently used to get better pricing...but this one is a 2020 bought new with my name on the card fir family provenance...hoping it will get passed to my son’s son and so on.

Went from these center lock caps:
To These:
Funny thing is that most likely I'm the only one "seeing" this tiny little detail - I didn't tell my better half that four of these set me back USD 300+ (including P&P + VAT etc) from Suncoast

You don't see the chrome as much on light colored wheels, silver cars - but you would not be the only person seeing, or being drawn to, chrome over black - I would see that too.
Looks very good, aesthetically pleasing, even with the Porsche tax...

I've owned my car now for about 3 years with about 8200 miles on the clock and it was time for a full detail and 3 new coats of Ceramic Pro to keep her going.
My detail tech shot me these pics tonight when he was finished. Ready to pick up tomorrow. I also changed the window triangle trim with the Glossy Black version; $40.00 at Suncoast Porsche (https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/PKBLKTRI.html)
Best and least expensive mod I've done to date. Looks sharp and finishes that area well. The dull plastic ones just weren't cutting it for me anymore.

Traded it in for my buddy's SV for the day...actually, left the 991 at his house and chased him around in his 918.
Amazing car and experience but I pretty much confirmed that I'm really a Porsche guy through and through!
