Dealer tech installed a SpeedTech catback exhaust. Retained the stock cats & tips.
Quality appears to be top notch, especially considering the reasonable cost.
Fit, style, function & sound are outstanding. I realize sound is subjective. No drone detected.
sound is approx 10-15% louder/deeper from idle to 4K rpms (still in break-in period). I swear my car sounds like an old air cooled 911.
I contacted John via email, and he offered me a holiday discount. Much appreciated.
At the end of the day, I wanted a quality catback exhaust with a moderate louder/deeper tone than stock, at a reasonable price.
SpeedTech delivered! I'm very happy w/my purchase. Job done!
Thank you, John.
Happy Holidays all...
Cheers/B

You're very welcome, but the thanks goes to you for pulling the trigger and placing your confidence in us. I'm extremely happy to hear that you are so pleased with your SpeedTech exhaust and really enjoyed reading your thoughts and experience regarding it! Enjoy!
swapped out side skirts for the wider RS side skirts, had them sanded smooth (they come textured from Porsche) and painted high gloss black to match the existing trim

Replaced my five year old OEM battery with an Antigravity lithium ion H6. Eliminated about 40 lbs. high up on the cowl.
Remembering back when early 911s mounted batteries up front on purpose to help with handling balance, I hope this mod doesn’t adversely affect my car!

Looks great - is it a noticeable difference in the flesh? Your wheels are really nice. HRE 101 LW? With Techart? Did you consider DSC?
yes, it is a noticeable difference, the extra side skirt width looks a bit better IMO
wheels are HRE P101 21's, car is lowered on Techart Springs
my understand is DSC module controls ride quality/stiffness, maybe designed for track use? fill me in please
I've been doing some research on DSC and from what i see, it improves ride quality in "normal" mode for day to day driving and then improves track / AX handling too. Everyone seems to rave about it. Don't know what the drawbacks are? So considering doing wheels, lowering and DSC as a XMAS / Hannukah gift to myself.

you will not be disappointed with rims/lowering for sure!
the ride does not really bother me so not sure about DSC...
Took the car over to my local dealer to have the little yellow oil overfill light dealt with, and was informed that 'Porsche is aware of the problem, leave it alone until spring when it warms up...'
Sam had made a mention of the oil (and cooling system) having some weird gremlins, but does anyone else know anything about this? Seems awfully silly that the oil measurement system is this finicky.

Hmmm...just tried to check the oil on my "new" .1. I was wondering why it was giving me a message saying it couldn't measure. Oil was up to temp, car running while on flat surface (in garage). It sounds as if I may have inherited this gremlin as well?

Absolutely Gorgeous! I love the colors with the black contrast. Enjoy
Porsche Vancouver informs that they are seeing a 'high number' of 991s having this exact problem, but they stopped short of any technical description as to 'why'.
The first time this happened, it made sense - there was slightly too much oil in, I was hard on the throttle, the oil expanded, yellow light comes on, went to shop, they pulled half a liter out, light went away, until...
I was waiting for someone at the train which is about 3 minutes from the office. I was sitting on a slight incline, oil was at 70c, so not even warmed up, and poof, there was the yellow warning light again. So to me, the first warning seemed valid, the second one now seems suspect. With the added commentary about waiting for the seasons to warm, I think it may be more than a calibration issue with the sensor, and possibly needs more of a 'fix'.
