Yes, I did mine on my 997.2 TTS with Plasti Dip. Looked great and reversible.

That's the very cheap way to do it.

Haha you lucky guy! I got quoted and charged $200 by them but I was a first time customer... My SA is Greek, I'm part Greek. I thought we had a connection?

Looks great man!

Ha, my first time too btw. Outside of getting a throttle boot from their parts shop. Lucked out indeed. I worked with Spencer, if that helps in the future.

Dial 911 and/or Big Swole, where did you buy them? Crazy how expensive I'm seeing dealers sell black emblems for. Looking for a more cost effective option.
I ordered them from Gaudin Porsche in Vegas. $480 I think, plus shipping. I tried a few different ways to make the old emblems look good with no luck.

Help guys!!

Any here do or ever see a DIY Spark Plug change thread on the 991 Turbos??

I decided to tackle the Y-pipe and filter myself and was going to do plugs while in there.

I thought there was a DIY plug thread but can't find it.

Thanks,

David

Last night and today, I’m seriously regretting not just paying the dealer to do it!! lol

But at least I’ll learn something in the process.

FWIW, BumperPlugs.com used to be pretty reasonable and emblems were very nice . . . just been a while since I've needed them.

You mark it with a paint pen. If the stripe is still on it, not changed.
