LMAO, that’s what we do on Yacht and boats.

But then you have to actually find a way to Check it, which means being able to pull the coil anyway...lol

I agree, that after seeing this and what needs done, I wouldn't trust that it was actually done without seeing it for myself.

Amazing what a fresh set of eyes on a new day can do. All we had to do is remove the turbo hanger bolt / nut and clock the coil the right way and it came right out.
Let's hope the other side is just as easy or easier.

New plugs gapped at .024.

Here are a few pics / vids to share our victory!! lol

awesome! I believe the Porsche advises to change the plugs every 30K or 3 years.

How many miles were on your car before you changed it? Did you notice a difference? The old plugs didn't look that bad.

On my Turbo S, Porsche recommends every 40k or 4 years for the plugs. My car is a 2017 sold early that year (one owner), so my car is over 4 years old, but only has 23K + miles on it.

Tools needed to complete this Plug change from start to finish.

-T20 Torx
-T25
-T30-
-External Torx sockets (small one - can't remember size). - My 12 point 8mm ratchet wrench was perfect for the ones I could reach. Pass. side had one on the turbo inlet that needed the socket
-7mm socket for hose clamps
-10mm socket
-long and short extensions
-Needle nose pliers
-Channel Lock pliers
-Plug Socket with the extension attached (my friend had this tool - paid like $30 for it...Worked perfect)
-I think it was a 12 or 13 mm socket to get the not off the turbo hanger bolt.
-Flat head screw driver

I think that's about it but if remember anything else, I'll edit this post.

Last couple of vids I shot last night ore below. I forget to record the Finish and start up. But I had to crank it for a few seconds. lol. Just didn't leave it long because it was 3AM and I didn't want to upset the neighbors.

I bought a custom tune from Sam about a year ago. At the time he told me what to do to pull some logs so he can refine it.

The problem is to capture the log I needed to go from 3k RPM to redline in 3rd gear. I have a general aversion to getting arrested, so I had to find the right time and place.

That happened yesterday.

My car did 501.5 at the wheel and 597 lb / ft of torque on 93 octane.

If you're on the fence about working with Sam, you shouldn't be. The guy is a class act and really knows his stuff.

Such an awesome picture with the top down Bryan!
I took a look at your logs and I’m actually surprised how well the car did with no fans on it. The run started at 178°F and ended almost at 210! It was correcting quite a bit. We can get some more logs on the street but it looks like she’s doing great. I think it would’ve made 50 maybe 70 more wheel horsepower if everything was in line with normal conditions and there were some fans or airflow These temperatures look like what we see halfway up pikes Peak ha ha!

More logs on the street?!?! They did one run in 4th gear, and the guy said the speedometer said 175!

I need to find a runway…

What did I do today?

Canyon run. Happy Memorial Day weekend.

I enjoyed the heck out of my TTS with my GTR/IS-R friends. These boys can really drive and it was a pleasure to keep up. Went thru the twisties at Azusa Canyon and really pushed the car.
The new PS4's are awesome. The other PCARS i met up there are awesome. I dont want to post photos as I dont have their consent.
My TTS is seriously an amazing machine that's stock, out of the box. Wow. Wow.

A serious thank you for all the Veterans, past and present. For those who gave their lives so we can have our freedom.........

it’s interesting that IMO the Nissans and Lexus are so devoid of functional style and really any style at that, yes my opinion, subjective of course. The Porsche on the other hand appears fluid to it’s intended purpose.
