I put the black side skirts on my SBM. Personally I don't think they would look as good if they were painted, and it would probably be harder to keep them looking good. You will find out that they are significantly wider than the stock ones, and you will clip them getting in and out of the car w/ your shoes. I realize how silly this sounds, but it is tougher to get in and out of the car for me (at 6'7") with them than before.

I ordered a set from Gaudin a month ago and they are scheduled to leave Germany soon. Hoping they will be here in a week or two. Tried various options to work with the chrome emblems, but they just weren't working out. Had to spend the $$ and get the black emblems from Porsche.

The more I wait, the more I change my mind. If this takes longer, I may change route and go with the "turbo" only logo from 996/7 generation and may be add a S to it. I love how simple and clean that looks.
