Ya just got it and you're tearing into it already ? ....You don't care for the current file or just testing the waters ?...mine is still in the box and car still asleep
I am actually really happy with the GT3 file, but, by nature, I am curious to see what the software is/does/looks.
No highway driving yet, unfortunately, and because the ride around the city is so much better, I am unlikely to change it anytime soon.
Lousy picture but had to put in a plug for the upcoming Scottsdale PCA Treffen in May... did a test run on one of the tours to Sedona this AM with a couple other cars from AZ region. Beautiful up in Sedona with a dusting of snow last night... this was a pit stop on the way up.
Well it was yesterday, but I did my first Track event at Atlanta Motorsports Park with my buddy who's a Diamond Member there at has multiple cars (He chose to drive his GT2RS).
This was an early session with me still trying to find the feel of these PS4S's and what they can take while chasing him on Cup 2's. Not to mention he's got hundreds of laps there and a GT2RS..lol
Lot's of traffic early on but we have some gaps...It was FUN!!!

How did you like the PS4S's? I'm debating on whether to run mine on the track this spring... I'm a big fan of driving to the track, running and driving home. :-)

They did Really well, however I did feel a few times after several laps that they got a wee bit greasy. When you get them too hot, it's best to go in a let them cool down a bit.
I'd love to tell you I'm a pro at detecting tire performance at a track but that was my first track day (on four wheels...used to do sport bike track days all the time). I was still learning my car (at those limits), the tires, the track, and so on. All in one half day really ( we did other stuff the first part I.E. Skid pad, slalom, autocross).
Personally, If I was going to do track days on the frequent, I'd have a set of wheels with Cup 2's ready to swap prior to driving there and back. Now I've never been on Cup 2's but based on my feeling of PS4S's in the mountains and now on track, I can tell what people are talking about when they say a good set of Cup 2's would be worth 1-2 secs. a lap at some tracks. They're just meant for those type of tire temps after some hot laps.
Worse case, you'll run the PS4S's and Still have a blast, but just know you can't run your best laps with them.
