Do the side skirts that come on the car just pull off by applying force downward ? I see there are what appears to be clips in metal at either end of the skirts on the new wider ones and was thinking they are thinnerman nuts for threading into but looking closer they may slip over something, is this true do you know ?

^ Tip about that video - the smaller clips on the outside edge are not designed to be removed by just yanking straight down like he does. I did so on the first side, and half the clips broke, while the other half broke off the tabs of the original sideskirt itself. Not a biggie if you don't want to keep your original sideskirts, but the right way to do it is to pull the sideskirt dead straight perpendicular outward from the car. This motion detaches the small black clips form the sideskirt and leaves them on the car. On my second side, this approach broke only 1 or 2 clips and nothing of the sideskirt itself.
Anybody have a clue what would cause a "Spoiler Failure - Slow Speed" Warning on my dash???
Now neither Rear or Front spoilers will deploy. At speed or manually.
I don't have a code puller / clearer. Grrrr!!!
Okay folks!! I need suggestions here before having to take It in. There HAS to be a hard code set or a connection that's just dirty or something I can check. Maybe a bad sensor for the 75 mph speed deployment that can be replaced.
I was driving in Sport Plus yesterday in town just before hitting the hwy. Spoilers deployed
Hit the hwy. got up to speed and must have hit 75 mph and got the Spoiler Failure displayed.
Spoilers deactivated with the button but would Never deploy again after that manually.
I pulled the positive cable on the battery today and I was immediately able to manually deploy them WITHOUT any error or malfunction.
Drove it again and just as soon as I hit the 75 mph sensor deployment, I get the code again. I did this reset and check TWICE!!!
Some people have been charged Stupid amounts of money by dealers to replace all the components to fix their similar issue but there's NO WAY mine can be anything other than an electronic / programming / code issue.
PLEASE watch my vid and let me know your thoughts and / or suggested fixes. Maybe there's a plug I need to disconnect / reconnect and / or clean that just malfunctioning. Where would these be????
