Regarding your other comment. I’m a fan of older 911s in rainbow colors, but they just don't look right on modern 911s, particularly 991 carreras.
For example,I love the 991 GT3 in guards Red, racing yellow, Miami blue etc, but not a fan at all of the regular 991 carrera in those colors, particularly GR or RY.

So glad to see a Touring there. I'm heading to the show next week, so look forward to seeing it. That antenna does look like an afterthought. Too bad they couldn't have hidden it somehow...

Cool, thanks for posting. Would be great to be able to pull both the wart and the gurney flap off, patch the wart hole and have the entire rear deck lid re-sprayed. Not sure which I dislike more.

I dunno, seems incomplete to my eye. But Porsche knows what they're doing in offering this touring version so the market must be healthy for it.

Seems like there is a great opportunity for after-market rear deck-lid designs. I'm thinking ram air-ducts in a spyder-esque design with no wing or a duckbill....

I think part of that is the poor angle of those shots, particularly that rear 3/4 view which distorts the proportions of the car, and the fact that it's GT Silver with silver wheels, which is just a weak combination from a presence perspective. I do think the gurney flap detracts from the look a bit though. I hope that it was really necessary to balance the aero and not just for looks.

Agree with you about the way the photo was taken. I will take more photos next Wednesday when I'm there. We may see more before then. I don't mind the gurney flap, but wish it had a rear grill like the winged car. I think this is the first GT 911 without a rear grill.

Luckily only North American cars have the wart.
The car looks very nice, although I"d have it with the Black Touring Package, especially in a fair colour.

Thanks for pics.
GT silver looks great on the GT3T. Fits the inconspicuous idea of the touring, but still has some edge and contrast with the GT3 black vents against the silver paint.
If if I got a Touring it would likely be in GT silver, but for a winged version, Guards Red is still my choice.

The back looks so odd. I think the standard 4 GTS rear looks better.
