GT3 Dealer Allocation Thread

Do dealers have a limited time to fill their allocations? If so, it seems like this could help drive down the markups fairly quick. For example if a dealership gets 6 allocations and they are asking for a $50k markup, and only two people on their list take a bite, it seems they would have to start dropping their markup in order to fill allocations or risk losing them or future allocations. If it's the opposite and they can hang onto unfilled allocations for a long time then they could keep waiting for someone to call and accept the $50k markup.

Yea 8X the sales get approximately 8X the allocation, but as I mentioned its compartmentalized by models. So although if your total sales is 5X, you should get 5X total allocation across all models, but each model hold its on allocation %. More Cayenne you sell, more cayenne you get. Less 718 you sell, less 718 you get.
Yea Auto Gallery sales is not what it once was.

Supposedly close in line after the 918 folks. Who knows, but I trust my dealer. Love my dealer! Don't care when I get it. I'd rather wait until the back end of the build run when all of the hype has died down as long as I get manual and - hopefully - PTS.

I called Carlsen a while back about their list and the dbag who answered laughed and said they don't have any list or allocations they give out, they spec all the cars themselves and sell them at market price.

Even worse than that is that they'd spec them with some stupid azz bloated options like a sofa seats with PCCBs and just about every other option box checked.

You bring up another point that pisses me off to no end. So let's say you have Carlsen do that or some other stealer dialing for $50k over with no luck. Now they spec the cars with some stupid combos and have the cars collect dust on their showroom floor. The question that I have for PCNA is this...if they know (and you can get your **** they know) that there is big demand for a GT3 yet a dealer has not provided the allocation to a real buyer, why does PCNA allow the stealer to spec/build the GT3? Why PCNA wouldn't require the dealer to have a real buyer for the car really boggles my mind.

Still playing with the configurator so no build code yet. Yes, may sell or trade one of the Spyders for the GT3. Dealership is the one I've been working with for a few years now. Won't be one of the first one's but I trust my S/A and he says it can happen. Fingers crossed. I hope manual trans and PTS open up. Maybe I will finally get PCCBs. Does anyone have a handle on what Chalk actually looks like? RWR, do you think I'm making a mistake by selling the Spyder for the GT3, investment-wise or in any other way?
