These are general new car numbers including Macan, Panamera, Cayenne, 718, 911, etc. However GT3 allocation will heavily dependent on how many 911s and GT they have sold in recent quarters/year. So total sales is just a reference since a lot of dealers only sell SUVs etc.

Generally Top dealers that sell a lot of 911 will get a lot more GT3 allocations. As you can see some dealers are selling 10X what one of the smallest dealers are selling.
Thanks for the info very Intersting.
I'm hopeful that the dealer I'm dealing with will get a car.

Now that the .2 GT2 RS, .2 GT3 RS and possibly .2 R are about to launch, will that ease the waiting list of the .2 GT3?

Well I don't know how 'about to launch' those really are...but to answer your question...probably not.

The other three are in completely different price points and buyers as a whole. Will some buy both-yep or want manual vs PDK.

But those that want those three are specific buyers IMHO.

I'm on the list for .2GT3RS and will enjoy .1RS until then (albeit dealer has me on .2GT3 list as well and if number is called, I'll flip it).

Is London an option for ED delivery pick up? Or only for the drop off?

Also, does anyone know the official drop off locations and costs?

Thanks

That's a good question.

991.1rs was not very price sensitive to begin with. Some actually paid 991gt2rs money to get one.

We know that 991.2gt3 will most likely be a 2 year run. (Maybe a small third but unlikely)
Demand will slow down after 991.2rs is revealed Geneva 2018. That when regular Joe can get 991.2gt3 at msrp. Because attention will be on gt2rs and 991.2rs.

Gt2rs will be launched later this fall. (First delivery Q1 2018) Unsure of interest. RL seems to prefer N/A so unlikely that many will take a $100k hit from 991.1rs to 991gt2rs?

Just out of curiosity, has anyone here got an allocation at MSRP from a dealer they have never bought a car from?

Really?

I was told that London is only a drop off point, with a surcharge. Only place to pick up the car to start ED would be at either of the factories.

Every city outside of factory has a charge involved.

There is a list posted in the ED sub forum somewhere--have to search. It's not cheap to drop off anywhere but factory.

Ah yes, drop off only.
Misread what the OP asked.

Pickup is Ziffenhausen or Weissbach only right?
Otherwise it's not really factory pickup..

Zuffenhausen via Auto train tunnel is what, 10 hours driving?
We took the Macan to U.K...
