I had a former McLaren service manager tell me that the hydraulic suspension will be more expensive to maintain in the long run. I’m not sure if that also translates into less reliability, or just more expensive. But something to consider between the two.
Ouch ..........I’ve driven the 720S hard and it’s a fun car, and hope I can drive the 765LT. But my gut is my 675LT will be my keeper it’s a beast and just fun to drive. Interesting comments on the LT cars.

I’ve been telling you all the 675LT is one of the best driving experiences imaginable...watch their prices keep going up and up as people realize this and inventory remains scarce.

Especially when newer McLaren LT stuff isn't as convincing, and then you factor in what prices they go for these days.
I'd trade in my 675 for a senna - but would have to put my kid in public school fist 😆
I subscribe completly. The new grill of BMW does seem like they are lost, but every car they make is the best they ever done. Especially 3 series up. Especially the non M cars, a decent mid spec 3 series alone is such a nicer car than pretty much all the above models from the competition. 5 series is perfect, there is literally nothing I can fault it. X5 idem, does need a couple options to make it a massive value for the money but the right options ticked and there is no real competition at the price range, none, at a different price bracket it might get beaten but not by much in terms of luxury and quality.
7 series vs S class really shows what both are about, 7 series feels like a tossable tank, S class feels like they threw all the budget into tech and ran out of money at the middle of the project and forgot to sort quality of the plastics below the leather and to make the car handle like anything short of a oil tanker.
Plus, again, options, any BMW model can be specced to a very close 7 series cabin, that alone throws the value for money table wayyy above the rest.
As a final thought, only thing I can fault with BMW is the lack of a M5 wagon. Alpine does offer one but n63 is engineering trash that should never had seen the day of light. D5 is great, but not really an M product.
I was a BMW guy before I became a porsche guy(whatever that means)
Right now, I still have my e39 M5 and a F10 M5 manual Competition. I love my e39 that it is my most priced possession. Its covered in felt and driven on a weekend.
I also own 3 other SUV as DD. But if i have to choose to drive a DD, and i am alone, I will drive my f10 M5. This thing is more comfortable than my RR and will kick any other car on the road. I think or it feels faster than my 997 Turbo S.
I was looking at buying a e30 m3 but I took someone else advise that its a nice car to drive, not a nice car to own. And I understand that.
So now, I have a M2CS in a boat and will be with me before Xmas. It would be low cost track for me, Something also to teach my eldest to start tracking.
Going back to Mclaren. I think if i were to buy a Mclaren, it would be a 675LT or 765LT. But looks like a 675 is going to be a better track car.

The company that really lost their mojo is BMW. Now even a Hyundai has more appeal than BMW in performance as well as reliability.
They have good cars. But the problem is BMW now does not value their products anymore, they value stock prices. Ferrari is next. I have not bought a new ferrari since my Speciale. Its gone now, and I am left with my second SCUD.
Porsche is the only one I think that still values their motorsport heritage.
Mclaren is new to me. havent owned one, but thinking of adding one until I find which one will not depreciate like a tank of gas.
Anyway can give an opinion how much in current market a 16 675LT spider with orig msrp $450k and 1500 miles?
I am interested in one looks like it can be my first Mac.
Not too man 450k specs around .....you about 10 cars in the US for sale. You can pay up to 300k, and I would say you will not find a 1500 mile car. Pull up the cars on carguru’s and 5 or so are spiders. Inventory is bottom of the barrel now.
