Haven't heard of the wheel bearing problem. The limp mode issue is due to an overly protective knock prevention calibration and easily remedied by an ECU flash from the dealer, or so I've read. The diff issue only affected a small number of vins, but Dodge issued a recall for a replacement diff almost immediately after the issue came to light. While dealing with Dodge dealers is less than ideal, my experience with Dodge has been phenomenal. They updated the design of the hood vents, and the part numbers were not yet available for order. The Viper exterior body engineer personally sent a set of the new vents to my dealer since they weren't available yet. My car has been flawless, though I haven't tracked it.

Mine does not have a huge number of track miles yet but no problems other than loose no 5 sparkplug. I've bumped rev limiter a few times, no issues.

Any representative ACR lap times for COTA? The only folks I talked to out there so far were taking it easy due to break in.

Sorry, another basic question. Is the ACR E dry sump?

Great, thanks. That's a lot of oil capacity.

Without the front splitter but rear diffuser extension on its not much different in clearance than a gt3rs

Does the front lip/spoiler come off easily?

ACR E is wet sump 11 quarts as stated with a swinging oil pump pickup.

I"ve had mine to the track several times now and have had zero issues with it. I was at COTA in may and I did a 2:33 my first session and was in the 2:25's in my last session. I can see myself in the 23's pretty easily. I have very few laps there so lots of room for improvement. I'm a hacker driver and it makes me look a lot better than I am, crazy easy to drive.

Is it worth it to do a Viper TA if tracking isnt the main priority?

Absolutely. No surfboard and more compliant suspension but all the power.

I think it's way better on clearance than my GT3, before track setup. After track setup and bolting on aero extensions, you can still drive on street bur have to be very careful. Good news is that the bolt on stuff is all plastic designed to scrape (and you will occasionally drag it on track).

Has anyone heard whether there will be a special edition ACR for 2017 MY?
