The rear splitter can scrape on really bad freeway transitions- mine bottoms out at Willow Springs on the track.

Front splitter is easy to get over bumps, you just have to go over at an angle like Vin Diesel from FF5

Nice pics of yours Keith. Thanks. I'd love to see the Viper blue next to the Porsche blue though just to see how similar or not they are. From Allans avatar and the pic of his Viper they looks very close.

As previously mentioned, it was on the new episode of Top Gear. The episode garnered lukewarm reviews at best, but I enjoyed the lap time test of the ACR at least, and the mock race against the Corvette was also fun to watch. Anyway, the ACR managed a very impressive finish.

The show was horrible. The viper ACR was cool. I can't believe I just said that...

Mine is almost done - Can't wait to see it with the wing attached!

That is beautiful - congrats. You can never go wrong with the Lambo concrete grey.

One of the best looking color schemes. What gray is that?

wow! I can't see any attachment points for the wing?

It would be cool to drive around as a DD without all the extreme aero (including the surfboard wing), then add them on at the track. I know you can do that with the splitter, diffuser, fender vents, but would that ever be possible with the wing?

Join the club. When do 2017 orders open? Still waiting to see what the options and pricing will be in Canada.

Wing is only attached by four 10mm fasteners, under the trunk lid. Should come off easily. I'll give it a try over the weekend. Allan

Many thanks. Telesto is what i started out with but ended up going with Ferrari Grigio Medio - I love the way it changes under lighting.

Many thanks - with no limitations it took a while to decide exactly what route to go down! I ended up going for a red leather upgraded interior as my guess is the car will be 80% road usage. I don't expect it to be as plush as some of the competition but i have gone for a very large spec as i thought for not much more than the price of the overs of a 991 GT3 RS (at the time of the order) it was and is cheap as chips!

Every option and extra was ticked - i'm curious and excited to see how the quality is seeming as the leather is from the same supplier as Ferrari for the seats, the infotainment system has an 18 speaker Harmon Kardon system etc.

The car will be used a few times a week and may possibly end up dd'ing it if i can get in and out of various locations here in LA (why are there SUCH deep entry points to gas stations and shopping centers here?!) as i think the ride will be more than fine for a daily basis from what i understand from other owners.

The wing makes the car - otherwise you would just go for a TA version which is slightly less hardcore in the aero department. You can remove the wing quite easily but this would only be worthwhile if you wanted to do a high speed run which is not what this car is about - it's all about the cornering speed.

Post some pics - i've seen one other owner do this so far.

Thanks all,

Josh
