sitff = no grip
soft = more grip
you have stiff front softer rear, you have more rear grip
the car at neutral is alreay pushing.
you reduced front grip, so pushes more.
a stiff front will have initial push at turn in, your car wont turn.
there are other kind of push for example, at exit. car turns turns turns then wont turn anymore despite you keep turning the str wheel, that woudn't be a bar issues, that would often be too much rear aero for example.

if you soften front 2 clicks then drive it, you will see what i mean (not that will be YOUR set up, but you will experience the reduced pushe if you softened the front.)

I have an open order with tire rack to ship me another set of MPSC2 as soon as they get more in. That order was placed a week ago. When was yours shipped? My last set from tire rack was in early September.

I found that toe out at the front really helped with turn in, and the stiff front bar really help with power out on corner exit. Even when I get loose from too much power on exit, it's very slow/progressive/controllable

i always ran toe out up front. some think i am nuts. so i stopped telling ppl that.
run rear softer, you can power out
as front softens, u need to unwind faster.

no one right way,
whatever you feel good with, is the right way

I used to run toe out in front, better turn in but don't like the feel.
997's full stiff rear always but we'll see on RWS cars. Different animals.

GT4 have RWS?

Neat video I made comparing my best lap to the cleanest lap a pro driver could find with me as a passenger. Bummed I didn't have the solo turned on during his run. He obviously wasn't going all out, but fun to watch anyway. Good thing that miata got in his way! LOL

I ordered 9/29, and the rears finally arrived today.

How long can you store tires in a temp-controlled garage before there is an issue?

Thanks, understood about the mechanics. My question was more about why just adjusting the front bar meant it would push *no matter what*. I have a feeling that going stiff enough on the rear bar would still undo the increased understeer from the stiffer front...

^ got it now.
while loosen rear will help reduce push, the full stiff front will still induce initial push, regardless where you set the rear.
