If the Dunlops end up being way better for you, maybe you should just switch to those and keep current setup.
Oh man, I don't know if I can stomach screwing around with the car anymore now that I love how it feels. I think Ben and Chris will kill me if I screw with the car again since all 3 of us love the setup. If the dunlops end up being markedly better than the mpsc2, then your theory about the tires could be right. I might consider it, but only if the dunlops are significantly better.

Fair call Joe. Too much buggering around given you have shims fitted etc. Be interested how you go with the dunlops. I have reverted to stock geo and look like I'll get five days max on the track with my current MPSC2 and 5000 road km including 1500 fast road work, but I'm pushing in a bit now and with my prior -2.15 settings I doubt I'd have made it past 6 track days...

Not directly on point but for out "funny rubber" winter snows, e.g. tires like the Bridgestone Blizacks, the local winter ice track junkies track talk about a shelf life in the 3 year range - these are the kind of guys who ONLY put the funny rubber on for the Steamboat Bridgestone track. The Porsche winter performance programs in Finland now seem to uniformly much use a studded tire, so . . . . . one has a pretty good visual indicator for traction availability - run them till the studs start coming out, or disappear. FWIW, I'm told they'll now offer a GT3 &/or GT3RS on some level of studded tire in 2016 - or if you have the $$$$ you can do a Cup Car

I would be interested to know if anyone of those who track the gt3 fitted or want to fit different suspension arms or control arms with monoball instead of rubber bushings.
I tried the gt3 on track with just some more camber brake hoses and pagid rs29 pads but felt that it lack a little precision near the limit and was reading about the bbi autosport street cup suspension parts and other parts and control arms on tarrett website but would like to read some review specific to the 991 gt3.

I haven't heard of anyone doing 1:36 or better yet, but I'm sure there are people out there who can on a stock setup.

I'm honestly a little surprised that your times aren't lower. A well driven 6GT3 (stock drivetrain/suspension) on NT01's did high 38's. I mean it does have almost 100 more HP, PDK, rear steering etc etc..

This is a video of my 1:38.4 vs a respected local pro driving my car on the same day with me as passenger and running into traffic at the end running 1:39.x. Granted, he wasn't going 10/10ths, but I don't think my time is something crazy slow.
Track conditions play a role as well, I think. I'm betting we'll see faster times from everyone after the rain season early next year.
I remember running 1:41 consistently in my spyder in early spring, but the rest of the year I was running 1:43.
