How did he like the standard pews? He didn't seem to be moving around in them too much.

Standard seats actually aren't that bad in terms of support. The real reason to get buckets are for the looks and the ability to run harnesses while keeping your airbags.

Agreed. I just spent a weekend tracking a 991 GT3 with the standard seats, and didn't notice a big difference in support compared to the LWBs. Adjustable seat back angle of the standard seats is a positive.

I like it. The car handled very well today. Controllable. I really like solid improvement in turn in with front toe out adjustment. The camber and swaybar adjustments settled down the car too. I think I'm finally done screwing around with the car. Now to work on the 'nut behind the wheel.'

BTW. Great event today run by PCA-GGR. Well run, good guys and gals, met some new friends, courteous and SAFE drivers.

Videos coming!

They did, thanks to mooty. At first the tech guy gave me a funny look, but I told him that "I know people". LOL

Joe

Go find Dave Potter who is with mooty. Rumor has it he's been running 1:58's in his GT4. I followed him for a couple of sessions Friday and he was damn fast. Can't wait to get that car.

Trofeo R after 3 days. I'm done with these tires after they are finished. Going back to Cup2s after this. Trofeo cost more, are more temperamental, and are no faster than cup2.

Who is Potter and why is he special? I figured he is a better driver than us common folks, but have not heard more.

Pass anywhere (still point-by, I believe), drive with people who generally know what they are doing and are safe and courteous, fewer cars in a group usually, and some faster cars/drivers to learn from. So it's a good group to be in :-).
