Hats off to Porsche if they can get customers to drop a mil on one.

Now if only they'd give us that glorious V8 as a standalone powertrain......
This is the only reason I have a deposit down on the 960...if it isnt that, Im out...sadly would be out of Porsche nearly period minus whatever DD I have.

Here's what Ukrainians think of Porsche (and opulence in general)

Default Latest news?

So, what's latest on 991 GT3 engine issues? has the root cause been identified? Is this a design flaw requiring significant engine refurbishing? Like if it's the rod, I imagine all engines must be replaced!

I'm done waiting. I'm looking at a 458 that I'm debating purchasing. I've been pretty patient over the past year and even scheduled travel around the delivery of this car...that was originally supposed to get in during November...that ended up being a February "delivery" that can't be picked up, while being fully paid for in cash that "may" need major engine work before it is released to me and next to no information about what's going on from the factory. Congrats Porsche, you've managed to **** off the most devoted of Porsche consumers...and as soon as I find the perfect replacement italia (call me Mussolini or Stalin...) I'm jumping ship unless major announcements are made in a couple days.

I have similar feelings. But before I pull the plug I want to know what the problem and fix is. If it is major engine work, more than likely I am moving on and not taking delivery. If they say the fix is engine replacement I might wait depending on the length of the wait.

Stop sale was implemented on 2/11, right? 2 weeks to the day. Let's hope for info / news (and GOOD news at that...) this week.

They had been investigating before the stop sale. So it could be closer to three weeks. They did warn in their letter that this could take some time. But with Porsche engineering skills I am surprised it is taking this long. The problem must be serious and complex. The longer it takes the more I fear the worst.
