If anyone at the show can give us a personal insight of the Lava Orange color, it would be appreciated!
And a comparison to previous Porsche Oranges' even better!
TIA
Anyone know if the 918 seats will hold you in place with the regular belts (no clubsport) or whether you still have to hold yourself in the seat under braking?
I'm sorry, I don't understand the point of your link. Or the post, for that matter. The engine speed (Pistons going up and down, camshaft rotating, etc.) is reduced when the RPMs are reduced. They wanted a lower RPM limit. Why?
They are not reduced when stroked.
Because excessive engine speed/piston speed cuts into reliability.
When the piston travel is lengthened (stroked) engine speed rises. In this example, 3.8 vs. 4.0, the latter has the same engine speed as the former (as the latter is stroked), hence the necessity to reduce red-line.
The RS's 4.0L 8,800 rev ceiling has the same engine speed as the GT3's 3.8L @ 9,000 rpms.

depends on what speed and what turn.

Also, should I order the 6 point harness? I don't think the wife will appreciate it lol.
I wish I could order the roll cage in white as it would look totally badass on ultraviolet.
you guys notice how the front lip spoiler almost wraps around and UP, all the way to the indicators? In the gt3, it stops short of the lights. I would if this is to emulate dive planes?
