I am beginning to think that when this Ultraviolet color (and I am pretty sure it will be a solid/non-metallic) is finally revealed in photos and videos to the public, it will be strikingly beautiful! In fact, it will be simply stunning! After all the hoopla about 'Lava Orange', this purple might steal the show!

Eduardo , thank you sir. This is very helpful. The orange is pretty darn close to the red, ha? I also think the purple will be rare as most will shy away from it and agree it will look stunning.
Does anybody know if the metal brace for the rear wing comes only in silver when ordered with ultraviolet or can it be specified in black like it is with lava orange?
If anyone at the show can give us a personal insight of the Lava Orange color, it would be appreciated!
And a comparison to previous Porsche Oranges' even better!

I attended the press conference (I was in Geneva on the first press day last Tuesday). The orange is stuning, deep orange. Not like the 997.1 GT3 RS which was much lighter. I think I will take it.

Did you go to the Porsche Closed Area as well: Any GT3RS there as well?
In the photo with the various shades of 'orange', the current 'Lava' would appear the closest to the first one on the left - 'Blutorange/Tangerine'.

That orange is hard to get / describe! Its not going into red! Its more the 2nd from right! Depending on where the lights are it looks cool and sometimes so la la to me! The closest real colour u can see online is that long porsche video of the gt3rs on youtube! When i take pics with the iphone6 it seems red but it isnt! Its def not getting into red tones! Lamborghini has the same colour! So does bmw on the i3 - i ordered it in lava orange but still dont know about it.... White mmmh / silver no / purple... I saw one by ford and it looked cool! They even didnt have that colour at porsche - amazingly stupid!!!
