    Dear Eduardo,

I hope you don't mind me contacting you 'out of the blue'. I have just ordered the 2018 Audi RS4 (I live in the UK...) and I would really appreciate your help with Porsche paint codes.

Following your thread (https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...grey-gt3s.html) I have decided that I would like to spec the car in Arena Red. I absolutely love it and think it would suit an RS4 beautifully.

However I see a lot of conflicting opinions on paint codes for this colour (on 993's mostly). As such, would you be able to tell me what the current Porsche PTS code for 'Arena Red Metallic' (as per that GT3)? I would like to be able to give it to my Audi dealer so I know for sure that I am ordering the right colour...

Many thanks and I appreciate your help!

    Kind Regards,

    Ed

    Hi Eduardo,

I need you input on PTS blue colors. I put a deposit on a PTS GT3 manual. They told me I have to wait one year. I am hesitating between Gulf Blue and Coppaflorio Blue. I could not find many pictures on the coppaflorio color. I love Gulf blue but I might lean more towards coppaflorio. Do you know where I could find images or sample of the color? If I visit Porsche in Germany, would they be able to help?

    Thank you,
    Rachid

    Hi eduardo
I have read alot of your comments on the pts for the RS. I have just ordered a 991.2 turbo. Do you know if the grigio telesto metallic is really mettalic? Doest look like. Also. The car will be modded on the aero style with moshammer parts and rotiform black wheels. Would u go signal green, maritime or voodoo, or grigio telesto. Regards

My post was made with trepidation, but I felt I needed to get the info out there. Because these are my friends I am not willing to list them. In person I may give you my sources but I will never reveal them on the forum. Remember Porsche has never said they had a RMS problem. Time will tell how this works out, but after talking with these individuals I am not going to stress my engine on the road or on the track.
    Cheers

    Hi Eduardo,
I commend you for all of your good Renn5 info posted across these pages. When I was at Thermal Raceway last year, my 918 friend snapped a pic of me...and you are in the pic as well.
Is this OK to post up on some Porsche forums...or are you camera shy?
If you are in the merchant/vendor section please stop in our exhibit #7/ MSDS, inc.
We have a black 914-6 gt biturbo in the tent.
    Saludos ¡ Martin

    Eduardo
Say hi to my friend Gabriele Kurzenberger, She is Pres. of the RS club of Germany and also a curator at the Porsche museum. I hear she is bringing one of her 72 RS rally cars to Rennsport.
I would love to know which cars the factory is planning to bring to Rennsport. See what you can find out..
Have a great time and I will see you at Rennsport.

    Eduardo,
Thank you for your information. I now have to decide on what colour to select,
    leaning towards UV..
I am not certain what the board would do with out you.
Safe Journey and give them hell from all of us former PTSers
Have a great time and enjoy the experience.

    Eduardo,
I was given the bad news yesterday from my dealer.
The new colors are J5 Miami Blue, along with Racing Yellow and Black.
I have a November build and was assured PTS, I am now having to reconfigure
my car and will select UV. What a waste of time, it is somewhat like buying a lottery
ticket, being informed you won, only to find out it was the wrong date.
Either way, thanks for the help and of course the information.
    Safe trip to the Mothership.
