Andreas Preuninger's words, not mine Mike. But my opinion on the subject hasn't changed so feel free to keep ribbing.

Not even a 6 speed, that's a 5 speed...! Now why would the editors would cut a manual transmission into a launch video of Porsche's new supercar?

Probably not in the US. My guess is it'll fall in the MY2016 bucket.

If it drops in MY2015, it'll be a super short 2015 run.

Maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, when we have some real world numbers we can revisit the conversation.
Even assuming a 5 second differential, given the price delta of the MSRP between the GT3 and RS (estimating something around 40-50K USD), those are some pricey 5 seconds.

And it's not just the base price differential, but the running/operating cost differential. I'd imagine a set of replacement 21" rubbers will be kind of pricey.

But then I suppose for those who have the wherewithal to use a ~200K USD two-seater as an exclusive track toy, those considerations are, at best, rounding errors.

More power to them.

It will be. Because of Euro 6 emission regs looming around the corner, from what I understand.

That's a '5' in the upper right and a '6' in the lower right

I am going to put 20's on the rear of mine. I'm cheap and I don't like waiting. I cant think of another car with that tire size, Im sure they won't be something discount tire has in their warehouse. Hopefully I don't screw up the RWS.

Looks department.....
The Orange/red looks great & the overall aggression is a hit!
I'm sure the driving experience will be sensational.

9000rpm, as per the GT3...

We have another "Car of the Year"....my prediction.

Yes RS only slightly quicker than GT3 but more unique car & will certainly retain more value than GT3. 3 is absolutely beautiful, but Saving $35K isn't much when you can own more of a true RS masterpiece. Just shy of RSR race car. Blood orange, not so sure on yet.

Looks a lot like an R at full res:

But fair, I can't quite imagine a 5 speed. I'd still buy one...

Question stands- why is there a 6 speed in the launch video? Unless it's from the GT4?
