Wow that looks very red on my screen!
Too bad the car doesn't have red calipers to compare.

Anyone know if the purple is metallic and how purple it really is??

For those who were thinking of trading "up" to the new RS, I have to believe there's more pause now based on the new RS' specs and upcharge.
I am adding! Signed a "real" contract today at 2:30 PM. First signed contract at myy dealer but I am still just # 2 on the list now when will it be deliverd???

What was the signed pricing relative to MSRP? At MSRP, or above?

1420 kgs... taller than a GT3, revs less, Turbo body (not a plus for me). Didn't Porsche say this iteration was going to be a bigger step up from the GT3?

They have such a magnificent car in the racing RSR to pilfer from.
Detune and tame where appropriate to keep road worthiness but use that magnificent, aggressive, wide *** body and a new legend would be born.

Doubtless all will be sold, so just me venting my internet armchair (not) buyer frustration.

I suspect the above MSRP market will start to evaporate pretty quickly - my local dealer is always MSRP for local buyers. Can't speak for other markets/dealers.

What happened to "most extreme difference to date" they were referring to? Maybe I was expecting a 150,000 USD price for this kind of spec, or a whole lot more for 175,900 USD such as 520 HP 100kg lighter etc...

For those with an allocation, I say more power to you and I know you will enjoy the car. For me, I was SOOO hoping for something that would blow me away enough to trade GT3, but that will NOT happen at this point (subject to change later after car reviews). GT3 (based upon RS info thus far) is just too good a car for the money. Period.
You are spot on regarding the GT3. It is a great car for the money. I'm loving mine more and more. The GT3 is a fantastic machine. I'm feeling lucky I have it along with my 997.2 GT3RS.

Blame RWS. More juice needed. The old Lion battery was rated at 18Ah the new one at 40Ah which I'm sure explains the size difference.

trying to make relative value argument with RS never works. i tried with RS 4.0. I lost. as MIA Mooty say, because RS.

GT4 crushes all in terms of out-the-door value IMO. what happens down the road maybe less so.

Yes, and still saves 30lbs. Let's just call stock battery lead ballast.

Does anyone know if there is an allocation available anywhere in US?
