Nope. As noted in this thread, that's one of 4 pages, not the approved list for RS.

The real problem is the day someone thought of selling 918 918s...

Default The .2 997 gt3 RS 4.0 posted is not 'Verde Ithaca'...

It's also not a metallic which is what was hinted by the digitally visually altered photos of this color:

Compare you original posted photo (which was indeed enhanced via filters and computer wizardry) to the actual color of the car below:

It's not nice to fool with mother nature...or the PTS resident guru either!

Then question is why do you buy your suit? How it was assembled, how it looks or how it makes you feel.

Same w/ RS... The potential...

Sorry Street...but there is no such thing as of THIS DATE as a released list containing the limited PTS colors approved just for the 991 gt3 RS! What was posted above, we now know because we question it, is the last page of the most current PTS list for 991/981/Panamera which has a date of 2/25/2015 (see attached below). I & others have been informed by 'Porsche Exclusive' that such a list of limited colors for PTS on the .1 991 gt3 RS will be forthcoming (possibly revealed in April). But it's not been decided on yet!

Why don't you tell us exactly what was told & sent to you by your Canadian dealer?

Eduardo

Non metallic slate.

Edit: but even then, not enough green.

We can palpably feel your excitement! And after seeing the photo you posted, who wouldn't be? This is vintage Ajimoto that we all remember!

Unfortunately, at my advanced age, it's hard to look at it, my friend! As I sat here at the Carmel's Senior Living Center, having just received my bland soft food lunch supplied charitably by 'Meals on Wheel', I must admit that it does my enlarged prostate no good by looking at this damn photo of yours. It also made me want to take a shower. And we are only allowed that once a week at this facility for 'Los Viejitos'. So please, Ajimoto, have mercy on all of us old folks! Arrêtez de nous taquiner avec ces photos alléchantes!

Saludos,
Eduardo

Relatively speaking, they either don't make enough RS's or too many 918s to honor the VIP program and loyal customers.

Not enough RS's. Their loyalist base grows annually, the RS production should scale relatively. I'm not saying 1:1, but with the 918 VIP's, they still seem to be lower in production than previous years, so it is even worse.

And of course, 918 918's was too much to sell w/o the VIP program...

If it was comparable priced to the CGT it would've sold more easily. Same problem Lexus had with the LFA. I can still get at least three brand new, untitled LFA's at or below MSRP right now if I wanted.

It's great in some ways that Porsche keeps this limited production I think the RS is a halo marketing loss leader for the brand
