I'm late to the party. Didn't bother to get up early, just watched the very informative 5 minute presentation on replay after a nice breakfast, walking the dog, etc. About 8 months ago I predicted $180K in the US, the car came in at $176K, $177K with destination charges, so not too far off, but I'm glad Porsche priced it slightly lower for those who are planning to buy.
Just as with the 991 GT3, I expect that when people get their hands on one they will find that the RS is more than the sum of it's parts and spec, and nobody who gets one will regret the purchase. It will be a tremendous car. That said, I can honestly say that I have no feelings of "I really wish I had one of those instead" and I feel very good about the GT3 in my garage.
Mike....we bet $1 on the over/under $180k a while back, I expect payment immediately!!!! I need gas money for my now "old" 991 gt3.
