This should be interesting. Pretty much loaded. It's a driver with real miles, which is nice to see. Not a huge fan of the graphics though.

For extra $35k, rather buy 2022 PTS 992 GT3 with CPO til 2029, lol. I've been looking at 991.2 or 992. THIS IS DAMN TEMPTING:

Not a lot of overlap there. 992 and PDK - very different car from a 991.2 Touring. Nice color, but I'd miss not having PCCBs in a $259k street car.

I wouldn't be shocked to see this car down into the 230s in a year.

What a waste of a PTS slot to get another grey.

Back when you could only get a GT3 with a manual in the touring, and back when removing the GT3 wing not easy, it kinda sorta made a bit of sense to pay a premium for the Touring. With the 992 GT3, neither of those are the case. I guess you can make the value retention argument with the touring, but IMHO otherwise it's kind of silly to pay a big premium more for less... But I'm guessing everyone has already made up their own mind on that topic.

Seller of that car posted similar thoughts on here for months (the lack of value in 991.2 vs 992) before buying that grey black car...now, ummm, I guess trying to monetize that value to fund a "new business opportunity".

Why would anyone pay $15,000,000 for a McLaren F1 that's been repainted? Cause it's still an awesome car. One of Porsche's best efforts.

Next time your in the Washington DC area, give me a PM and experience one of Porsche's finest. You'll get it after spending some time around the car.

Well not in 2018/2019. You could order a touring option at no cost as long as you had a GT3 allocation. Allocations were 15-20k ADM at most. I'm not sure a 50k delta is worth a lack of wing myself, even as a touring owner. But, hey, the market has spoken multiple times now since 2019. It is what it is. If I was looking for a good deal on a 991.2 GT3 today, it would definitely have a wing attached. Long term? The touring seems to be the better option over the next decade from what i've seen so far. The amount of passion/want is pretty obvious and I don't see that lessening, especially with hybrid and other more climate friendly drivetrains etc coming soon.

I just really like the way it looks - removing that wing radically changes the whole form of the car. Also the fact that it only ever came in a MT and was made in very small numbers makes it feel special. It was like a skunkworks project which is cool.

Agreed! For whatever reason in my eyes it takes on a different aura than a winged car. I also like the all leather interior that sets it apart with the fabric on the center of the seats that evokes the 1973 RS.

I was also shocked someone thought 259k for a winged and pdk and 10k miles 2022 is tempting

Clearly he is the owner or owners friend. No one is going to bite close to that price lol

And, hence, 50k delta, haha. It does seem like tourings tend to be more highly optioned as well.. mine was 192k MSRP, leather vents and the whole shebang.

Another 991.2 touring with 18k miles on pcar. Not nearly as much action there as BAT. Maybe a good buying opportunity for someone looking.
