Buy a VW Golf R and wait for prices to come back down to reality. Prices go up incredibly fast and take forever to come back down it always seems. I'm in the same boat. I want to buy a 7.2 RS but can't justify the money so I'm waiting. Since those are getting more rare everyday, they may never get back to 2020 prices especially since they are the last of the Mezger.

I went to Bonhams today at Petersen Museum to see their auction cars before the public arrives... I thought the CXX options sheet from the jerry Seinfeld GT2RS would be interesting.

I must admit looking at the car inside, I simply don't get it.. it just looks stock... not a great use of CXX funds, looks more gratuitous actually. But what do I know, I'm sure Jerry knew that the special black CXX leather he ordered was more special than the stock no-charge black leather.

Also interesting to see the winglet details up close.

Will keep looking, but you’re right, these prices are getting crazy. Had an opportunity 2 years ago, an acquaintance trading in a 7.2 GT3 guards red, but timing wasn’t right.

Garage - 2019 BMW M4cs coming up on end of lease in December, so not in a huge hurry - but the track is calling.....

I believe this car is still available. Chalk .2 RS with 5k miles. WP with exposed CF hood, PCCB, FAL, LED’s, and full leather. $244k original MSRP. Asking price is $230k. This one has been for sale for awhile and now the price looks like it is a not a bad deal.

Go miami go.
I was thinking similar.....almost $15,000 over sticker w/ out PCCBs and around 5k miles.
Maybe i can still *ask* 250k for mine shortly before the 992 RS comes...

Black .2 RS with 930 miles. WP with exposed carbon hood, magnesium wheels, PCCB, FAL, LED’s, and full leather. $251k original MSRP. Asking $250k.

Awesome loaded car and probably won’t last long at this price. Only .2 3RS on the market with the magnesium wheels.

Other than preferring the .2, I agree with you completely.

I agree with you too, the .2 front bumper updates with slight slant inward (when looking from the side) & air inlets make the .2 front end much more aggressive than the .1
