2018 GT3. 11,605 miles. $197,995. Friend of mine was the first owner of this one and took great care of it. Don't know anything about the subsequent owners. It's an amazing spec with exactly what you need, Buckets and PCCB's. No affiliation with current seller. WP0AC2A90JS174855

Shark was introduced with the 992 GT3 so you won’t see it on any 991s. However it’s extremely close to Voodoo which was really popular on the 991s

Shark wasn’t introduced until the “992.” Miami Blue is another.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-66/

thoughts on the result of this .1? Seems ok price given the miles and G6 but not a “deal.”

.2 cars are still out of my price range. I feel like there might be some opportunities with the .1 warranty running out. (Hopefully find a g6)

Some people out there have zero clue about the .1 or warranty running out

Meaning what? .1 have a 10 year warranty for engine on top, right? So a 2015 would be SOL in 2025 if the engine goes... That's under a year from now. If I were looking for a GT3, TBH a 991.1 would be out of the question unless it's an RS. Why carry that liability?

991.1 RS is out of warranty as well... Why the differing thought?

Agree, but I personally wouldn’t be interested in any 991.1, be it an RS or even an R. They all share the same head architecture, so none are immune to the failures the 991.1 GT3 is known for. Yes, I’m sure the lower redline helps the RS but the risk is still there and needs to be priced in accordingly.

I wont keep beating a dead horse, but its mechanical therefor all prone to failure. Pricing in an assumed failure is difficult and will do what it does via market(s). This will be the same situation as the 997's were having with coolant failure(s), years down the road its noted and a known issue, nothing more now at this point with those. Jump forward 10 years and I suspect the lower 991.1 production numbers will outweigh the potential/known motor issue with plenty of options to repair in the event of damage.

only makes sense if it’s price accordingly for the risk. We are still seeing people pay $125-130k for a .1. Autokennel just sold 2015 without a G6. It was listed at $129k for 1 week. I am not a buyer at these prices for a .1. I would stretch for a .2. I think .1 at 90-100k could be interesting but we are no where near that (or prob ever)

Yep. If you're getting a 991.1 at those prices... makes much more sense to stretch for a .2.

That's a pretty decent buy IMO. I would have no fear buying one with a G6 but I would have reservations on what happens to that generation as the warranties start to drop off and the first jalopnik article is published.

Personally, I'd wait until it got a little closer or the 2014's start falling off. It's sort of a neat opportunity to take a calculated risk and feed on fear a little. With a little patience you'll find the .1's cheaper and have hopefully had the opportunity to close your gap on .2 affordability and maybe it'll make more sense then. I really don't understand how people are paying $130k+ for these non-g6'd cars.

I’m still on the hunt for a lower mileage CPO .2 manual if anyone has any off market leads. Thank you!

I'm listing my CPO 2019 Carmine Red touring in the next few weeks.
