Lowest price .2 RS on cars.com now 238.5 (another lizard), looks like the handful that were down in the 220 to low 230 range all moved.
I've noticed that listings for a lot of sports cars are now disappearing en masse and then coming back over the following weeks, being listed at higher prices. I think the dealers are trying to not flood the market to alleviate downward pricing pressure.

https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...t3-touring-17/

49k over sticker on a 991.2 touring with 10k miles.

The desirability on these boggles the mind.

997's, 991's, 992's, 718's, all the adm's......

It all boggles my mind and I believe there will be a day soon (most likely all of the gens) where these are cheap again. Sorry in advance for the Porsche investor community for my offensive words, I am entitled to my opinion. I just don't know how this many people can grow their garage space 10k GT cars a year AND hold what they got lol.

That's the only reason I got rid of my 991.2 gt3rs (classic I thought I would keep it forever car....3 years later, never saying that again) on to the next and make room for a new fun experience. Variety is indeed one of the spices of life

Low key, traditional 911, sleeper look gets cooler as GT cars become more messy and extroverted. Touring has been growing on me.

I agree. I prefer the simplicity of the 991 Touring over the 992. I can’t predict the future as others apparently can, but as time goes by I think it will continue to be appreciated and sought after. Retaining its value is just a bonus (if it does).

Seems like the dealers are buying all the cars at auction. The 726 mile RS that sold a couple weeks ago on bat has been promptly relisted by a dealer.

Yes, to each his/her own crystal ball. Doesn't rock my world if you're right or if your wrong, but I'll take the over on your forecast.

I develop luxury real estate for a living, and it never ceases to amaze me on each new project launch how many deca-millionaires, hecta-millionaires, and billionaires that I've never heard of come out of the woodwork to grab quality offerings. I think it's hard for any of us to accurately grasp the depth of the want-a-GT3 demographic.

And that's why God created wings and tourings, PTS, PDK vs 6spd, PCCB vs steel, sofas vs LWCB, etc!

If you're primarily driving on the road I have to think it's the most desirable 911 with electric steering that money can buy. Maybe short of a 911R? With 992 GT3 ADMs and availability still ridiculous, GT4 RS still asking way over... all the ADM in the world doesn't make the new GT3 any more attractive to look at. It's clearly still commanding a premium for good reason.

I had a 992 Touring also and still preferred my 991. ADM had nothing to do with my decision and neither did value. I just liked my 991 better when I compared the two.

Your buddy Chris Harris did the same. It's a much better looking car than the new one to my eye. And I hear it rides better too.

I own a 991.2 touring actually, so, I get the allure. The car costs me money no matter what, unless it triples in value or something, so, you don't offend me at all. If it goes up another 50k or drops 50k or even 100k.. what does it matter to us as owners? If someone bumps me at a stoplight, I just lost that much in value anyways, lol. Still really interesting to see the "want" for a wingless GT3 as translated in pricing relative to other vehicles.. or even a winged GT3.

Well I agree. Just still amazed to see pricing like this and will be interesting to see the market for these over the next few years.
