Yea, I'm trying to see if I can make it work, but it just doesn't make sense for the family. We'll see, job market is rough, maybe I'll get lucky and score a job in the next month.

Unfortunately I've had to list the one I bought off BaT last month since I just lost my job. Price should be $189k https://www.autotrader.com/marketpla...AC2A97JS175923

Never mind. My fault the link I saw had a touring selling at 189k not 26x.

That was me...I said you can get a 992 GT3 Touring for 265. There was a CPO one listed recently, PTS Albert Blue, manual, Buckets for $253 (that was a bit of on outlier compared to most CPO cars) but here are some 992 Touring BAT listings.

How about all the authors in this thread actually go buy some cars and drive - then post about your experience actually driving vs. your experience trying to buy a car or this and that.
This is a car, not a security or some other investment to be traded around - though it seems like GT cars have become commoditized as such.
Be prepared to lose, and be happy if you win (e.g. get even money / enjoy miles & smiles). In the odd event you make money, great - but don't count on it happening again or factor into your purchasing decision - if that is what underpins the transaction, you shouldn't be getting a GT car or any car.

^^^ This.
It's funny how some threads here make fun of Ferrari guys being obsessed with valuation, I've been an FChat member for 20 years too (been on RL since it was an email list under a different name), and RL is WAY more obsessed with values.

The GT4RS facebook group is the same. A couple of days ago I posted there that "It’s time to get back to basics. Buy cars for the driving experience (not the profit or the specs/stitching as DeMuro says), and accept that there’s a cost to that enjoyment. The rest is a waste of time."
