That’s a nice car. What are they asking for it?

that's alot of money for a gt3 with that mileage just for the color

you can get a newer RS for almost the same money...

totally agree and certainly wouldn't pay the 220K that it is listed at. I love the RS but really after a stick...then I see the pics in that link I need a bigger budget and garage!

thanks Rod. Been drooling over both…the fashion grey is a bit more my speed plus it has PCCBs. Reached out to the owner the other day. Agree on buying from enthusiast vs dealer most of the time is a much better experience.

I finally test drove a 991.2 GT3 today. The bucket seats made me feel special. I dunno, but nothing else really did. Doesn't seem like the paradigm shift I was hoping for from a 991.1 C4S. Will a 991.1 GT3 RS have a different feeling? Since I'd just be a poser driving to the grocery store I don't care too much for the 991.2 engine. Maybe I'm just getting too boomer to enjoy cars any more. 🤷🏻‍♀️

My main concern is that the wing will be a PITA when parking in the garage. Also not looking forward to wiring a rear camera and hacking the PCM all over again for wireless carplay. Wish the 992 were more aesthetically pleasing to me, because I really am a bit tired of the 991 platform (been with it basically for a decade, it's the only Porsche platform I know lmao).

Have had great luck getting attractive (to me) deals on 991.1 GT3 RS. Lukewarm on 991.2. Lukewarm with 991.2 GT3 RS as well, but all still over MSRP. Easier to get a decent spec on a 991.2 GT3 RS than a 991.2 GT3, that's for sure.
Aside from the unique, all-time great sound dynamics, RS is even more inaccessible on grocery store runs vs base. Enjoy your C4S, great engine & all-rounder.

One of the lower priced, low mileage lizards was too good a deal for a track buddy to resist, he picked it up the other week.

Lowest price .2 RS on cars.com now 238.5 (another lizard), looks like the handful that were down in the 220 to low 230 range all moved.

@Hams911 If I were in your shoes I’d focus on finding the best spec that would make me happy. In the long run you will be happy that there’s not a single thing about your car that irks you (color, brakes, seats, leather etc) rather than the +/-15k on a 200k car. The fashion grey car is a beaut but so is the Eurocaroc car.

$275-$325 must have been dreamed up on an acid trip.
