Clearly, you have the means to get one at whatever price it is that you think is fair and that's great. But, there are thousands of dentists... plain old dentists, in the US alone that can afford one right now if they wanted one.
And 2019 already happened. You should've bought one then, which would have fit your price parameters... maybe even better. But, now its 4-5 years later, the cars are older... more possible stories.. more owners... more farts in the seats... The good deals were 4 years ago, not in 2023.

Definitely the same car from Monterey. I also looked at in person as well. It was listed at 215 and sat for a few weeks. Last I saw it was dropped to 199 before selling. The car was originally co-owned by 2 owners down in Newport area. I chatted with one of the original owners Mark extensively who was great sharing all the details and background on the car. A portion of the lower front bumper did have some paint repair work done when something hit it on the freeway. I think they replaced the mesh screens as well. It was very minor though. I believe the initial 12k miles or so were done by these co-owners. Then it sold at the Bonhams Scottsdale auction in January 2021 for 185k. But I think it was 3-4 owner car when being sold at Monterey.

Yep, prices are dropping from the peak, but they are still selling. It's not like they're going for MSRP or below for the "right car" right now: The no stories PTS, MT, buckets, FAL, PCCB, and low mileage GT3's still have plenty of buyers as evidenced by the quick responses in this thread and the fact that they are still selling. All you guys act like its 2010 or something... its not.

@widers911 Yes that's mine. I can't remember it being at PHV but it will be there for the 75th Anniversary party on the 10th or whenever along with my 500E. They had my Cayman for the grand opening a few weeks back.

Thanks @maroli. I'm not a PCCB guy. Better feel from the steel IMO.

For sure more, I'd say 10k more. Reinforces that PTS / PCCB / FAL / buckets / low miles / MT is unicorn spec and can't be compared to broad market. Good news if you're okay with PDK and 10k miles or 6MT / steel brakes etc, you don't need to pay above MSRP.

Just for the record I picked up a 2019 GT3RS last Friday, 5400 miles, never tracked, flawless, paint corrected GR, with front PPF, new N2 Cup 2's, and CPO'ed for $239k. Good deal... maybe, but I think fair deal based on mileage and condition on other RS's I've looked at over the past month. Crazy I guess, but crazy times right now with prices. Regardless, I am satisfied. Can't wait to get it to the track!
