Anyone care to lend their knowledgable opinion on the value/price of this? I expressed interest to a local dealer about getting a 992 GT3. I have a 2022 Carrera S I would be trading in. Response was we can put you on the list, but we also have this 2018 GT3 that we could get you into now while we plan on giving you an allocation on a new GT3 later. Took my 992 in for service today and drove the 2018. Impressed by it and interested in pursuing this. I'm just not nearly as knowledgeable about these. Thanks

I know this car. It's good one. I was very interested in buying it. The only reason I passed was because of the color. I am looking for a Sapphire Blue or other PTS in blue.

 

Price looks great to me. Optioned well and has a CPO into 2027

Don't be surprised if you lose interest in playing dealership games on a 992 allocation and keep this instead.

 

It’s a great car. I almost bought it but it was missing a couple options I wanted. At the time I drove it, it had a GMG muffler installed that sounded money.

I had also driven it before they finished cleaning up the front end as it looked like they had re-sprayed it. There was a bit of orange peel and overspray that needed refinishing so check on that too.

 

I ended up buying this Gelbgrun GT3. In love.

Drove it down through Carmel and Monterey, Santa Barbara, then home to Scottsdale. Had an absolute blast.

And yes, new door sills are en route to replace the lion tamer! 🤣🤣🤣

 

Anyone know of any Chalk GT3 or RS available that is not listed online already? Or have a car that isn’t on the market yet that you’re considering selling? Only a couple currently for sale that I can find

I have seen it a couple of times when dropping my car off with Scott in service and priced pretty good for a dealership! They are a solid bunch of guys at Chandler Porsche.

glad you're enjoying it, funny thing when I got the car I drove it back from scottsdale, took ca 3 & 58 up had a blast. btw not sure if the sales mentioned it to you but to pass ca smog I put back a set of oem 3rs exhaust system, sounds better than stock gt3 when I got the car I thought about swapping out doorsill too but eventually didn't fint it bother me enough to get it done

ha! I know this car very well, given that I owned it since new. I took great care of it, changed PPF a couple of times and never had any issues. It has never been tracked and most of the drive were highway trips around Arizona. I traded it in back in Dec 2023 for a new 992 GTS and I think it was sold shortly thereafter by P Chandler. While I don’t know who owned it for the last 7 to 8 months, I’d say this is a very solid vehicle and one that I do miss.

P Chandler is very solid and it is where I take my cars for service. If they say they will do something, they mean it.
