Still sold for 5k over sticker though.
Carmine red is probably one of the best colors on a Porsche. That said, this car went fairly high considering the dirty DME with Range 5s, and a recent range 4 event, oil overfilled at the last oil change (probably burns or leaks oil and was over filled when topped off?), no cold start video. Hope it's enjoyed and there are no issues.

edit: Range 5 is over 10k RPMs isn't it? n0 bIg d3Al!!

Yeah, I agree - was a pretty solid number in totality.

it's just a car. if you have to sound like an economist about a car purchase then it's not gonna work well for you....

Miss a downshift from 5 -> 4 and end up in 2, even for a split second, and boom, welcome to range 4/5. **** happens. If you read the discussion on the sale and the actual DME report you'd see there are hundreds of hours of use without issue after those blink of an eye range 4/5 recordings. Would a DME report with no range 4/5 be better? Sure. Was this one really an issue? No. The dealer that did the report had no concerns with it. Porsche would still CPO a car with that report. From what I saw, the seller fulfilled all requests asked of them. No one asked for a cold start video, likely because it's pointless. Carmine red is a great color but wasn't overly popular nor is it rare. That color alone isn't going to save this sale as you seem to imply. If it had a perfect DME report and slightly less miles maybe it sells closer to $180k. A year ago this car would have got $200k easy.

Some of y'all seem to really be grasping at straws to try and explain away prices that have been declining for almost a year now. It's weird to say the least, especially when looked at against the economic reality.

sometimes these cars electronic dipstick has a mind of their own. They can goad you into adding oil when the engine doesn’t need it.

I had a .2 GT3 with range 6 and it was fine. Scoped it, compression, leak down, etc. Car came back with numbers ABOVE factory minimum for a brand new car. It's been a few years now and still no issues. The over-rev lasted a fraction of a fraction of a second though. Luckily I caught it and hit the clutch before the gear was fully engaged.
