Does anyone watching this thread know of a MB .2 3RS for sale, or perhaps know a member who may be willing to sell? Ideally it would have WP with Mg wheels, but my must-haves are LWBS, FAL, PDLS+ in black. I'd prefer PCCBs but for the right car I'd be fine without them.
I've been hunting for seven months now for my unicorn, and unfortunately missed one earlier this year. I may have to consider other colors if I still have no luck.

.2 3RS with Miami Blue and Weissach package is so hard to find. Might almost be considered PTS. I found mine last October and had to jump on it in minutes. I've oscillated on whether I should sell or not but I'm not sure there's anything else out there that could replace it in this market. It's the perfect spec but doesn't have MG wheels.
So, vast dealership cabal is conspiring to place fake bids on bat to artificially prop up the GT3 market, specifically, creating the misimpression that there's anyone out there who would possibly pay current asking prices for our hoopties
Not sure I'd go that far. While there are legitimate transactions that happen, unless you're a blind folded lemming with room temp IQ that also believes in Santa Claus, you can probably pick up on certain things that look a bit "odd" at times.

Are dealer to dealer sales/moves odd? Why is it assumed theater to "fleece the last remaining suckers" vs a dealer acquiring because they think they'll be able to do better in their market, with their customer base?

Such a sick spec. Love the painted calipers. I need more photos of those pleaaase. I think I've said it in the past too haha.
Christmas spec .2 RS with A LOT of track day mods. Unsurprisingly it’s a “1 of 1”. Only Guards Red car with a Lizard Green interior. The Lizard Green pinstriped wheels and center caps really set off the Christmas spirit. I love Christmas, but wouldn’t want that to be reflected in the spec of my Porsche.

Not sure if this is a serious question. Did you pay $75k+ over for a used 991.2 GT3 thinking it'll never go down in value? If so, i can understand the skepticism, but it's much healthier to accept it's happening and enjoy your car. This thread is geared more towards those looking to buy one, hence why we try to decipher what is going on in the marketplace.
To answer your question (to which the answer is fairly obvious) - this is essentially market distortion and/or manipulation - manufacturing of "fake" (aka cars don't actually transact for those prices) auction results in public auctions that buyers, insurers and other market stakeholders rely on to make decisions. It can distort one's perception of true market value for an asset. These aren't super mass produced Honda Civics, and thus don't transact as frequently in a transparent manner - there is very limited visibility and data for actual transaction prices outside of these public auction venues, which is why generating distorted auction results can have a material impact in one's perception of true market value.
An absolutely beautiful color. I can't wait to see which color your 992 will be.
Thank you. If I can get PTS it'll be Yachting Blue, otherwise Arctic Grey w/ Neodyme wheels will be my order. Freeze date isn't till March 8th so I have my fingers crossed for PTS:
