Some people like PTS pretty colors for an extra $16k or whatever .to each their own. I couldnt justify that amount of money for a special color.
I understand what you're saying. But with already spending a bundle on the car, if and extra 16k gets you EXACTLY what you want than it's worth in IMO. I hate having a car that is almost what I want. Every time you see your unicorn our there you kick yourself. The cost of a wrap/PPF would eat up more than half that. Selling it to buy what you really wanted and paying sales tax again puts you way over 16k. I've learned the hard way in the past of having to buy twice because I tried to save a few bucks the first time.

My budget was for a 9.1 3RS and as much as I tried, I just could not get excited about white (last Porsche was white), silver, or lava. I was drawn to UV but then ran into a Riviera blue and felt the aero bits just popped a lot better on the blue vs darker UV. Didn't start out intending to shop PTS at all but bought what I kept going back to--fell in love with all the blue shades Porsche has and only paid a very small premium to go there. My wife noticed MB when looking over my shoulder on RS colors--so she bought an MB MacanS so we have a couple nice blue P colors now.
My second MB 991.2RS. I made a grave error in selling my Euro delivery first one for a GT4, and regretted it...so I had to find another. This one is higher optioned than my last one, though - I did steels, no front lift, and no carbon fiber accents.
Have you noticed any handling differences between the two, one with FAL and the other without?

Not so much in the way of handling, but you can definitely "feel" the weight of the FAL system...throws off the balance and turn in feel a tiny bit, at least to this butt dyno. I was anti-FAL for awhile, but it definitely makes it more liveable, and certainly easier to get on the trailer

My first (but not last) 991.2 is white, iron, FAL-less. Very glad to hear my turns will be more balanced as a result of no FAL.
Regarding your MB p0rn, this photo is my fav of the bunch. Hope you don't mind my cropping. Love the distortion of the headlights reflected. I am going to own this color someday before my time here is up.
For some reason I'm captivated by the bumper on your car. That black section looks so unique and menacing, surrounded by the light and fun color.
Thanks. When the wrap shop finished and sent me a photo, I was really worried it wouldn't work when I would see it in person, but I love how it turned out. I got the inspiration from this race car
A lot of people think I was trying to make it look like the 992 GT3 but I had this done in August 2020.
