Dealerships are asking for a $200K upcharge on 992RS builds and nothing will show up here for at least 12 months. There are no allocations, period. The .1 RS cars are appreciating and so are the .2 RS cars. The 2RS prices are getting out of reach.
I'm happy to keep it and drive crap out of it. But at the same time, the more pragmatic side of me is like... sure, "RS is RS" but "1/4 Mil is 1/4 Mil" lol.

How so? MSRP is MSRP. A car with WP would still get an offer at MSRP, it would just be a higher $ amount because of the more expensive option.

Are WP cars demanding even higher premiums?

People that buy these cars with credit should not be buyers...period. And certainly not at this point. Of course, many can argue that the old rates made that more bearable assuming the cash saved was hard at work in equities or some other part of a portfolio--real estate etc. Maybe I am naive, old school and very blessed but using credit for this type of purchase has always seemed nuts to me. Patience is understandable, but honestly for those who do have the cash for this kind of purchase (which should be a scintilla of their net worth), patience is not really required when you are talking about a measly $50K differential. Sorry but that is just my opinion. Old white guy rant over. Carry on.

I agree. But when money was "free" the last couple of years, it definitely changed buying habits. Finance $250K for $5K. Invest the actual cash and you could earn way more. Not so much today.

No offense, but that's a really ignorant viewpoint. Why would a person pay cash when they could of financed that money at 3-4% and made 10% easily with the cash they didn't spend on a car (that doesn't deprecate)? Silly financial advice at best.
