Excellent photography, too.

I dunno why I keep coming to this thread. All I do is go "OMG, OMG, this is unbelievable". Guess I like horror stories.

Default Pricing Advice

Hey all. I have a 2019 GT3 Touring with 8,040 miles on it. I am looking to sell it in advance of taking delivery on a 992 GT3. I have been offered $205K for it (have also been offered less than that by some others)... wondering if you all think that is a good price or if I should hold out for a better price. I fear the marketing is softening a bit.

It is a manual, full PPF, guards red belts and instrument faces, front axle lift, steel brakes, Bose audio, adaptive sport seats, chrono, led headlights in black, other misc options.

Thanks in advance for any advice offered.

Floor would be $215k I think, but shouldn't be too hard to get $220-$225k.

Will dealer you're buying 992 from, consign it on showroom floor? I'd think they'd ask $235k-$240k, and depending on state, you might get tax credit that way.

Dealer will not consign and they have offered me a very lowball price. And I live in CA so I get f*ed on taxes. The offer I have is from an exotic car broker I have used before... I know I am giving up some money by not trying to sell myself but not sure i want to deal with trying to sell it myself.

I recommend just listing it on here, craigslist is mostly hit or miss, lot of tire kickers I'd say.

Here or cargurus or bringatrailer.com. Expect dealers to try to buy it.

I'd start here in the classifieds for just a week. Probably all you need if you aren't reaching on price. Beyond that, I've sold a Porsche, Audi and older FJ62 all on Autotrader in the last 2 years, and found it super easy. Easy enough to weed out buyers from tire kickers via email.

Thanks. Haven't used CG in the past, but I have bought 3x on BAT and I just tried to sell a (different) car there which didn't meet reserve. Their process of getting the vehicle listed is a bit of a hassle.
