it’s still significantly over original msrp for a 4yr old car… i think this is where you need to have certain options.. manual, pccb, lwbs, fal, etc to help preserve value. I will say, I was back and forth a about the manual, but I’m so happy that I went that route now. I haven’t driven a manual since I sold my 2013 CTS-V back in late 2015. This one is a great one.

Ditto, though PDK was never an option for me. Stoked for 3 pedal action.

I don’t view my GT car as an investment so the price gyrations don’t really bother me but I doubt we’ll be down, long term. BofE blinked this week and is now “temporarily” buying gilts (British government bonds).

funny how RL people always talk about this false notion that these “extra” options make your car preserve more “worth”.

the one 2018 Gt3 I got offered for 30k under sticker at South Bay Porsche in summer 2019 was a manual, lwb, PCCB and fal…(176k sticker) if it was bone stock (141k) I doubt They would have offered it to me for 111k

if u want to save money, just spend less lol

Here’s an interesting one could easily get for sticker that looks super cool and coincides with what I just said: https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-...ckType=listing

Certain options retain value, others don’t.. paying for ultra expensive special wishes probably rounds to zero on resale, but manual transmission with lwbs and pccb will always do better than the ones without on BaT. I think this holds true in most markets. If you pay up big time for a mural to be painted in your dining room, it might add value to you, but most buyers would say it devalues the house when looking to buy it. I think it’s simply explained in that a lot of buyers want the three of those. I know I’m lower bid or no bid for a car with sofas and pdk.

I’m listing my 991.1 Lava RS shortly. It’s privately owned by me and I’m selling it through my dealership that I own.

Pretty high sticker at $208,500 including LWB, FAL, LED headlights, painted interior trim, painted vent slats and more.

21k miles, CPO until 11/2022

Has full Dundon exhaust suite including street headers w/ cats and black lifetime center muffler ($12k) and Titan TS7 wheels.

Full front PPF (bumper, hood and fenders), full paint correct last year with GTechniq ceramic coating.

Maintenance records including a 20k service at Porsche Atlanta before I bought the car. New Cup2 front tires, plugs, cabin filter and brake fluid flush. Motul oil change with OEM filter just performed. 4 wheel alignment.

$195k with full Dundon setup and Titan wheels.

That's a very fair price for a well maintained and cared for RS. If I was looking for this car, I would jump on it. GLWS
