The 991 GT3/RS Cars For Sale Thread...

So you believe a dealer bid against a dealer to buy from a dealer at 53k over sticker on a 991.2 3rs in a market with 6% interest rates and falling prices? For this to be legit worth their while to pick up, they would need to sell at like 75k-80k over and have a "buyer" in tow...yeah okay pal
it's funny how Pcarmarket and carsandbids seem to get none of the same outlier auctions.

BaT gets higher prices than other platforms because it's the best platform, not because it's a stage for dealer charades.

The unwillingness to recognize 991.2 variants as in the mix of upper $1xxk to 2xxk cars is utterly bewildering to me. The alternatives out there for equal and more money... you must be kidding. Some appear to be missing the forest through the trees because of an isolated focus on the GT market, what "should" happen in an economic downturn, the msrp distraction.
Meanwhile, Escalades are selling in the ballpark. Escalades.
GT pricing could come down with the economy, sure, but the notion that current values are some sort of rip off is absurd by any measure. This is one of the greatest cars ever created, don't get too distracted with predictions and forget that.
Consider: You could have an as new 991.2 RS for 250k, or how the same $ for an Urus instead? Or, maybe a DBX? New Range? McLaren GT? Maserati MC20 for 50k more? Huracan EVO for $100k-200k more? Maybe you save 25k and get a Lucid Air?
991.2 RS doesn’t belong in this price tier, sure.

Looks like next interesting BaT GT3 data point will be in 6 days, when this Fashion Grey GT3 goes off. It sold last spring on BaT, so an excellent benchmark for market change over past 6 months. Today's results at +48k and +53k over MSRP are about as I expected.

Oh well. I'm with you - I prefer the 991.2 GT3T to the 992. That's just me. Right now at least, the 1.2 Touring is where I'm at, regardless of the fact that it's "old". I suspect there are a lot of people like me.

Interesting thread as I went back to the first post. I recently sold my 11 GT 3 and searching for 991.1 GT 3 RS and seeing the prices slowly drop from what they were earlier in the year.

You are, however, right that this should provide a benchmark for a trend of one car over 6 months. It sold for $236,000.00 in May 2022., and we'll see what the sale is in 5 days, IF it sells and sells honestly on BAT.

Not so for the non-Lava variety unless high mile. Still within 5% from last year based on what data I tracked before I made my purchase. But I guess 5% is technically a drop..perhaps just due to the fact the car is almost a year older and not much else. I don't see any precipitous drops for these cars...buy what you want and can afford and enjoy it--waiting is for the birds and life is short.

Not quite sure about your math. MSRP was $185,770.00. Todays top bid stands at $165,000.00. That is MINUS $20K, below MSRP. Unless I missed something
