I think it's one of those dealerships that has a brand franchise to look legit. There was a local Mitsubishi dealer in town with a lot full of exotics until they got busted and shutdown for all kinds of shady dealings.

it also has a rev range 4 ignition in the dme so it cannot be certified unfortunately
Good to know. Pass for me as a non-CPO.

If you like Lava Orange, actually seems like a bargain at ~15k over sticker:
I've noticed some dealers are starting to pull listings down after they've aged a while, and then re-list them a few days later. Many cars are not moving right now, unless they're going to wholesale or selling dealer to dealer. Also seeing dealers starting to unload more cars on BAT, Pcarmarket, etc.

So many shill bidders on BaT that have no intention of bidding to win. I have seen it in almost every auction on BaT.

The GT market is literally collapsing, even tho im taking delivery today on a brand new one and dont care....

Check this out: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...t3-touring-11/

This was for sale in my hometown of Los Altos by the owner for either 175k or 180k literally 6 weeks ago, then this dealer buys it.

It is SUCH a low spec I am thinking it doesnt hit more than maybe 180, goes to 196 and the some random that bids on other cars that are massively inconsistent with ever bidding on a touring, bids 30k over that to 225k..... ROFL

This has to be the dealer pumping to go relist and dump after the auction "buyer" never performs. Might even be him (the dealer) wasting 5k just to try and pump an extra 30k lol

This just does not add up

And BaT does nothing to stop it, plus they keep the buyers deposit if they back out and the sellers listing fees. I listed one car on there, it sold, the buyer went MIA after a few items of discussion post sale. BaT kept the buyer premium, my sellers fee, and said they wont list the car again. Have heard this narrative over and over again. Really do not follow how that platform is getting the attention it is for what little they offer in terms of resources.

the guy bid $60k on a 2014 carrera the day before. The buyer for a carrera and a touring could not be anymore different.

couple other datapoints: PDK, non FAL car with dubious but reversible cosmetic mods gets RNM under MSRP
https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-17/

Stripper 992 touring doesn't get to 250k but still sold (kudos to seller)

also https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...he-911-gt3-24/ high bidder didnt follow through, price came all the way down to 165k privately and is still not sold at that price (significant # of cosmetic issues but nonetheless fantastic spec otherwise)
