I agree. Obviously I have Carmine red. When I first saw the color, it actually gave me a jolt of fear. My wife, OTOH, loved it. So, we bought it. I think I finally figured out that initial jolt it gave me. I'm a surgeon, and Carmine Red is not just blood red, it is fresh ARTERIAL blood red. Arterial blood during surgery means the patient will die unless you're quick about it! I was talking to an anesthesiologist during a DE, and he agreed. It is a scary color!! LOL!

I like Guards 100x more than Carmine. Wasn't interested in considering a Carmine GT3 when searching, only Guards. Different strokes for different folks...otherwise all cars would be the same color.

(I’m in healthcare myself - helping surgeons and ASCs improve their operations.)
I’d bet a lot of surgeons are 911 owners - something about the surgical precision of a carving a canyon run that’s akin to using a surgical scalpel like a magician

Here is an interesting one. Prior damage but PTS and manual with a decent build sheet... oh and cheapest on Autotrader right now.
https://www.thecarlotonline.com/inve...-coupe/175780/
Edit to add that after looking at the pictures closer there are cut out holes in the rear carpet which indicate a cage was there at some point. So if you are looking for a track rat that you dont have to worry about every scratch this might be a good candidate.

35+ years as an urban trauma surgeon, 5 years full time administration recently retired. All kidding aside, the risk assessment and situational awareness skills of the profession are paying off in HPDE. Makes it easy to remain calm when s**t is going sideways around you - time slows down and I'm able to make logical decisions and instantly refocus on the next task once the danger has past. I picked the subspecialty when I was young for the excitement; as I got older I stayed in it for the societal need (and the elective MIS and critical care I was doing bored the hell out of me). If I had it do do over, it would be ophtho or ENT and lead a fuller life outside the hospital. Anyway, back to the cars for sale thread. There's a Guards .2RS at my local dealer (Warrington) with only 350 miles, but the asking price is absurd.

The above car was at Porsche of Jacksonville. I was interested and in communication with them. When I told them I wanted to take it for a 3rd party PPI they ghosted me. Now it's at the dealer in Oklahoma City for $4k more.
