That's what I have been seeing 1-2 mesg lots of questions. Couple dealers with offers in the 175-184 range.
That makes valuing your car even easier if you already have dealer offers, basically you should expect 5-10k max more than what the dealer is offering(189k-194k if 184k is the highest). It's very difficult to get the 20k+ over the dealers offer that they will list it for unless you have some unicorn car.
Although I have seen some friends take dealer offers because no one in private party would step up above what the dealer was offering since the dealers wanted the inventory so they made strong offers. If your car doesn't move in 2-3 weeks then you will know the dealers offer at 184k is strong and basically market for your car.
In my mind a car is a car. It doesn't matter where it's for sale. If a dealer thinks he can get more for a car over a private party then they better have something of benefit to offer. The only thing that comes to mind is a Porsche certified pre owned warranty. Any other dealers, Merit, West Coast whatever etc are just flippers.
I think you're right on the money. I've seen the desirable(dark greens) PTS winged cars do 210-230k but those were 6MT, low miles and nicer specs with PCCB's. You have higher miles, less desirable PTS(very close to Lizard/Python), PDK and less options(no PCCB's) so I think a 190's price is fair. Market will basically speak, if you get 20 messages saying I have cash in hand ready to buy then you've underpriced it. If you get 1 or 2 messages with lots of questions/asking for a PPI/etc then you know its priced fair.

Yep I did; even got some new tires sitting at fed ex for the right buyer.

That's not the only thing dealers offer, they also offer a safe easy transaction and can easily be sued if something goes wrong/lots of state laws protecting the consumer. Most normal buyers want that comfort of walking into a Porsche dealer and buying a GT3, Rennlist only represents a small % of Porsche owners. That to me is the main reason dealers can get away with charging above market for cars.

Good points. Not sure about consumer protections on used cars however. Typically they're sold as-is but they do have a reputation to consider.
Hi, wondering if anyone has any insight on this gt3rs as it’s close to me and was going to go take a look at it. When you run the Carfax, it was certified by Porsche but then moved to a different dealer. Would that warranty transfer with the car? Coming from a 991 turbo are there any specific things I should look for on the RS? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Nothing specific to this car, however: DCH Acura buys alot of cars at auction. While that may not be an issue, I would make sure you do a PPI on this car and maybe even have a good body shop take a look at it. Second, there is snow on the ground in the pics. Have they really had this that long? Or are they recycled pics? Looks like a beautiful car but I would be cautious is all.
Also, the car does not have the extended leather package, so check the door cards to make sure they are not separating. There was a big TSB/issue over the plastic door cards on the 991.1 (all models).
Gotcha! I did notice the snow and when I called the dealer I inquired about how long they had it. It’s been there just under 200 days which I was amazed that they didn’t wholesale it. The sales people really didn’t know much about it and stated they have a “person” that specializes in their high end cars. I wonder if the CPO will transfer from the Porsche dealer that certified it prior. A big consideration for me is the high dollar they would give me for my turbo on a trade.

CPO does not transfer if a non Porsche dealer sells it. Only transfers upon private party or Porsche dealer selling.
Curious what my car is worth? It's a 2016 Agate Gray with ~4,800 miles. $167k sticker. PCCB,s, etc. I am the original owner. Stored in a climate conditioned garage, no accidents, all service up to date, spark plugs changed last August, etc. Front half of the car has PPF from day I purchased it new. Ceramic coat, window tint, RSS exhaust. Stripes are from KI Studios and removable. I don't drive the car much and I may consider selling. Below are some pics and the window sticker.
@alevine That's a beautiful car and a great build for someone who doesn't want bucket seats. If the original motor, I would say 140-145 private party. Maybe 150 with a G6 motor. IMHO the stripes do not help the look or resale. I'd pull those off. The market has started to soften a little bit from winter/spring prices.
