I’m certainly in that camp. I’m on a couple of dealer allocation lists for the GT3 Touring for 2022, but I just don’t think it’s happening and agree with previous poster that the chip shortage will last well into 2022. I’ll probably get the Ferrari 458 instead but have also been cross shopping McLaren and Huracan given the absurdity of the current Porsche GT3 situation. And I’m a die-hard Pcar guy!

Agreed, the Rhodium Silver caught my eye and I've been keeping an eye on 991.1 prices after picking mine up recently. I was not expecting this particular car to hit $150+ even with fee's.

I'd tac on the carbon fiber steering wheel as it comes with the LEDs. And the 20" forged 5 spoke wheels.
Also cruise control is optional lol. Mine didn't have it and it was a pain traveling the highways with that super touchy throttle.

Oh I agree - the FAL and racing seats combo are more of a unicorn rather than must have. Carbon steering wheel is must have for resale, 5 spoke wheels or even the OZ superforgiatas (not sure if offered in NA, but were OEM). Hifi, parking sensors as well are great.

I have a 488 Spider with out FAL. My GT3 touring has the FAL and I couldn't survive with out it on the GT3. The 488 seems OK with out it. I would prefer it but mine wasn't optioned with it. Best to get a heavy optioned car but you will pay for it.

The ride height of the 488 is like an SUV compared to the GT3
