There is not a Dealer who is not trying to make some coin on the .2. I am not saying right or wrong but they are all guilty, as a whole. Wait for the .2 RS- going to be a freak show and I am going to watch from the seat of my .2 GT3

LOL! I am sure he did. Anyways, I am not a 918 owner, just have a good relationship with my dealer, have bought quite a few cars over the past 10 years. They are a small dealership and they kind messed up on getting me a GT3 at MSRP, that in return they offered me their GT2RS allocation.

If that is the case, then that is nice to hear that there are still dealers out there that take care of their good customers which I love hearing being the stealer basher that I am. haha Big props to your dealer!

Thanks! Yeah, I am with you, I can't stand how these stealerships are treating their customers.

Can't believe it but I'm still on four 'MSRP' GT3 lists (four deposits)... Two for well over a year. I have an allocation for October build, so if one of the lists ever pay off I'll do my best to post the lead right here on this thread. It's likely, however, that they will want to go to the next name on the list. But I will do my best.

Quick aside... One of the most veteran, knowledgeable sales associates emailed me today saying... "Porsche will only build in 2018 so we expect they are predicting production capacity and will send shortly."

Another aside... While typing this I received a call from Ashley from Porsche Greensboro 336-294-0200. She told me that she has a pre-owned Carmine Red manual available for $25k over. I'm posting this because she was quite friendly and honest. She told me the some customer bought it with the sole intention to flip it for a profit! No lame excuses!! Love it.

Very true words.... once I saw my local dealership convert to ADM (they've never done that in 10 years of doing business with them), this car will corrupt just about anyone lol

Seems like allocations are moving up a month or more does this mean Porsche is making more thus giving dealers more allocations or are they just getting the 2018 GT3 production finished sooner?

Some (many?) allocations have also been moved back. There is a lot of shuffling. Many factors at play, including RS peaking its frunk (err... head) around the corner.

When I went in to my dealer the other day after receiving the word that I finally got an allocation for July build / August delivery, I made him pull up his whole dealer allocation calendar and it looks like they have 1-2 each month until fall and then it looked like 3-4 in Nov and Dec so looks like there will be a big push towards the end. Try and get one of those!

The question is when did they get those allocations, because some dealers have had late 2018 allocations for a while. If none of them are new allocations, there's nothing for people to chase unless a dealer has just kept them in their pocket.
