While I'm sure there are some that won't do this as others have suggested, my guess is that plenty will abuse them early. Obviously if you know the seller it yields peace of mind, otherwise it's a potentially expensive coin flip if you plan to keep the second owner car for a while. My preference is to buy new. I'm fussy and the peace of mind is worth the extra price in my case. However, I realize many folks feel differently.

I've only bought new as well for the above reason, but I likely attribute that more to my "OCD" rather than legitimate concern about the prior owner thrashing the car

I have a hard time believing that someone who can afford a $150-200k car just redlines it off the lot, never washes it when the car is dirty, eats in it and makes a mess, etc... Even if you are very well off to the point that $150-200k cars are negligible to you, I'd wager it's more likely the opposite that the car just sat in the garage and was driven sparingly for whatever reason. A lower mileage Subaru STI maybe a different story, but I personally wouldn't shy away from a low mileage GT car that was the spec I wanted if I didn't have OCD. These cars are robust and you can always do a PPI from a well-rated independent mechanic for peace of mind..

My 16' RS was traded back to the dealer. Car was perfect and never abused. You can tell if a car has been tracked over driven hard.

Why do people flipping cars insist on putting on PPF right away?? Would be a turn off for me not knowing what hack did it.

Not to mention, ALWAYS the classic +$10K PPF

+ sales tax
+ PPF
+ ADM

+ full tank of fuel??

I understand the frustration with flippers but if there is money to be made flipping will continue. These cars are priced near or above what the 2019 3RSs are going for. Though, asking price and sale price are not the same animal.

The Acid Green Porsche price apparently dropped 10K..........I guess it needs to drop a bit more.

There are a good # of GT3s listed on AutoTrader for RLers still on the hunt (about half don't seem auto populated, as they have full photos/description/delivery mileage etc)

While I'm still waiting for mine to arrive I like to see the specs for sale to help bide the time, I've seen a couple that I would make inquiries on if I didn't have mine...Never hurts to ask..Some dealers might even have other GT3s inbound spec'd to flip, or "customer back out" as well

What was the best deal you could find? I was not able to get that close to MSRP on even the GT3.......as I stated before the best I could do was 15K over from Champion.

Are you talking MSRP deals or close to MSRP deals? Apparently, there are a crowd of "in the know" people on Rennlist but I am not one of them. I was very proactive contacting multiple dealers but no luck. Though, in all honesty, I did not start my quest for the GT3 until February which was little late in the game but 15K over was the best I could do for a configurable allocation with a 7 September build date.

Makes it seem like a "good deal" even though 3M PPF is the worst out there.
