Hey now, the garage space issue was my excuse! 😜And very real, unfortunately.

But I didn’t flip my allocation. Could easily have done so, because i only paid 10 over, but I just gave it back to the broker. And I get sad just coming to this subforum.

Went to Porsche of Jacksonville today to see what toys they have on the floor. Gotta admit, the 2RS is much more impressive in person. It was obviously sold, but thought it was a neat sight.

Porsch2018.....Thanks for fixing photo on sticker.........this dealer typically has a new price sheet with the ADM posted on the windshield and the sticker document in the car. I believe since they are in Porsche's headquarters market that they are watched closer on the ADM offerings and flipping.

They had a pre-owned one late last year with an ADM....a 159 they sold for offered for 199 and I was told they sold for 189. It had about 90 miles on it, and it was titled to a previous owner, so they could sell at market price.

This one is owned by dealer, looks like a customer's build that totally backed out of, so no title change to new owner and they can't sell it as a used car since the title did not pass and ADM is not possible with HDQ backyard scrutiny. They require a 10K non-refundable deposit so they made money on this one already.......

Again, based on what I have observed here, this might be a quick purchase for someone without an ADM........and low price, albeit lightly optioned......

Porsche doesn’t care about ADM.

Does Porsche care about flippers? I thought they directed dealers to avoid sales to known flippers on future sales to GT buyers, etc....ADM is the basis for the profitability with a flipper, right? With no ADMs, no flipping? I understand there is no teeth to their threat to dealers, so it is just turning a blind eye to it all, I guess...they certainly are not going to terminate dealers like other businesses do...........

^^ They would risk biting the hand that feeds them.. aka the dealers. For these in demand cars how ever you want to skin the cat, most will have to pay the market price. Putting it in perspective, I heard about someone who had to buy a Lusso and sell it back to the dealership the next day for $100k less for a Pista allocation over on FerrariChat...

ADM is a win-win for Porsche, Dealers are happy because they can charge more for in demand cars and heavily discount other models, this way they can move more cars off the lot still maximizing profit. Consequently Porsche sees higher sales numbers. And used GT market appears strong because sale price comparison is based on original MSRP.
