I see thanks......my hypocrisy only extends so far. Unless they throw in a fireman's hat and a small fire ax I won't spec it

If you track the car frequently, it actually helps for peace of mind. Your car can spin off unto dry grass, and the hot exhaust can ignite the dry grass. Ask me how I know

Really....good to know it has a purpose but placing it at the passenger's feet....DK.

It's actually not bad, unless your passenger likes to tuck his/her legs underneath, it's out of the way. Most people who really track will put a cage, anyway, so then it gets moved. For purely street driving, yeah, don't get it.

I specced my GT3 with the fire extinguisher. I think it looks cool, but I'm 99% sure I will just run away if my car catches fire

Only 99%, how indecisive....I would put it more appropriately at 100% unless, of course, I have marshmallows......man's got to have priorities.

To Porsch2018, sunnyr and misterwaterfall -- I forwarded several allocation offers that I passed on to other RLers. The reason I don't post them publicly on RL any longer is because when I did this in the past, my posts were deleted and I received a warning from a moderator who explained to me that posting offers or advertisements from dealers and brokers who are not RL sponsors is against the rules. If it makes you feel better to believe otherwise, please feel free, of course. Good luck with your pursuits.

I understand about not posting it publicly but PM those that are interested.....especially if you do not want to pursue it.

Offered a GT3RS allocation @ 45k over... "must be sold within the region." Call Efraim at Porsche of Tucson (520) 954-1630. No affiliation

Thanks that’s a start but I am in Texas and 45K for me is not a good long distance deal but someone in Tucson that may work. Other consideration for some of us is doing business with a local dealer. Even if this dealership would sell out of state that 5K savings would not be enough for me to pull the trigger. I was offered that deal in April and turned it down. The other issue for some of us is an early build date and my car enters the build shop 13 July......just moved up and probably will move up further. I guess if you wait long enough and accept a 2019 build date the price would improve but that is in my mind a less favorable deal.

Strangely he included the El Paso region also. Must be the same dealer family
