Great AMERICAN 964s for sale
#6811
All the years living here (In Miami-Dade) have made me shortlist all of the shops in town. For PPI's the list now only has one name. I think I posted earlier on this thread. My experience with the dealer selling the blue targa is a positive one. They are stand up guys and enthusiasts. I will report back when I go see the car and will take some common photos with my phone and post them here. The wheels were added by them and color matched. The other stress bar mods etc. were added by previous owner. That is the extent of what I know of the car. As per @cobalt 's comments, that is correct. 964 targas seem to be in high demand with very low supply. I've been looking for a good one non red/black/white for ever and a day. I passed on this one as I personally do not like the 'outlawish' minor mods and I do not want to deal with reversal work. More to come.

Go big or go home they said... https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifi...php?id=2425027
If you look through the rest of those listings, there's some more interesting 964's in there.
And then there's this... https://stratas.auction/auction/1994...liter-coupe-66

How big of a premium, I'm not sure...$110K felt very steep to me.

The Amazon green turbo I believe is for sale by someone we know here. Nice clean example although I find the interior a bit polarizing. Looking forward to seeing what this fetches. So few nice turbo 3.6's for sale lately so I suspect upper $200k to low $300k but it might be more in this market.

At the top they want $120k, at the bottom, 110.
6 speed manual? Was that an available add-on? Not my place to say, but it aint listed with the other codes. Funny because that would easily be the most desirable option so...
An exceptional(ly) rare car, indeed.
Im glad they at least seem credible on the phone...

Yeah, the guy with the Targa is a dealer of some sort, I've seen many 911's over the years with photos from the same location. Clearly he's mistaken on the transmission, most likely just an oversight on his part.

There is a chance that I will be selling this after the New Year. I have owned it since September, and a rare opportunity has presented itself. I am torn, as the acquisition requires me to dispose of 3 cars, and am trying to figure out a way to keep the 964 and get rid of the rest. @JAB12 The 964 has been my go to car since purchase, putting almost 2k miles on it. It truly is amazing.

Interesting. I wasn't sure. What are the odds of two Amazon green 3.6T's surfacing at the same time? I agree the wood and console kill it for me but there are those that love that stuff.
Pretty turbo and great photo. I wish it was still driving season.

It doesn’t look like this was posted here yet: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1...e-964-carrera/
It appears that there’s more paintwork than the seller is letting on, pretty sure the driver door/rear clip are repainted and the passenger rear clip also painted. What I find odd is some of the wear on the gauges which I typically only see on very high mileage cars. Anyone know what might cause the peeling and plastic degradation?

Speaking of Amazon, I don't think this car has made the thread.

Wonder what they want for it.
